Rome Cinemas

It's a great thing to have these cinemas in Rome. With the gas prices we hate to drive to Utica. In Rome we can drop the teenagers and go home and wait until the movie's over with. I feel safe with them right in Rome. I've been to several movies there myself. THe biggest reccommendation is if you plan to go see a movie that's an advertised a favorite- go early!! If you go late there will be seats but not together and if you end up in the first 5 rows you can't see the screen - it's too huge!! The big theater room needs to have a slightly smaller screen for everyone to be able to view. All in all it's great - they need to update their website and put the correct price in - It turned out to be about $5 more than I expected it to be. The web site had 6.00/4.25 and the tickets were 6.75 and 4.75! While I don't expect much from a small town cinema, the seats seem to be unnessecarily uncomfortable. I have found this to be a problem in any theater in Upstate New York. But the price is good for this region of the country and the movies run reliably. Pros: close to home Cons: terrible seats more
