Our Dream Beach Wedding on a Uninhabitted Island.... After many romantic getaways at Savannah Beach Inn, we asked their staff from Romantic Weddings of Savannah to plan our destination beach wedding. We were totally surprised with our wedding on an uninhabited island beach near Savannah, GA.Not only did we enjoy all the normal formalities like the toasts, cake cutting and great reception, everybody changed into their swimming attire for an afternoon swim as well. The unexpected canon ball done off the stern of the boat was done in good taste as well. more

It was perfect and so memorable! Craig performed the ceremony and Gina took our pictures! We took pictures all around the Inn and also around Forsythe. After the ceremony we came back to the Inn for our own little wedding cake and champagne toast. It ended up being just what we had dreamed!! The Inn itself was so beautiful! more

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay in Savannah for our private destination wedding and who also provided a wedding package. We came across the Savannah Beach Inn and thought it'd be a great unique place to stay and they also offered unique weddings. We chose to stay 4 nights at the Inn in their Victorian room and have a wedding for just the 2 of us on top of the Tybee Island lighthouse. more

We were very pleased with our wedding and reception, which was hosted by the Romantic Weddings of Savannah. The innkeepers, Ann and Craig were easy to work with. They provided chairs for my 50 guests, flowers, an archway, bouquets, boutonnières, unity sand ceremony, photography, an awesome officiant, and they did all the setup. All we had to do was show up with our marriage license! It was very romantic and it took the planning pressure off of my shoulders. After the wedding and reception, we stayed in the Marshall Suite on the top floor of the inn. We loved the room because it had a mini kitchen, a sitting area, a private bath, an extra bunk bed room for kids, and a view of the ocean through the large bay window. The restorations done to the house made it very modern while retaining its old southern charm. At breakfast time, we couldn't wait to get downstairs to chat around the kitchen at the counter top! It felt like family! We can't wait to go back! more

Romantic Weddings of Savannah made our Weddings Dreams better than ever imagined!! We had a fantastic wedding and reception. Everbody was so excited for us and happy with the event. We see all the staff of Savannah Beach Inn and Romantic Weddings of Savannah work so hard and go way out of their way to make our wedding day and stay so special. It seems a shame that so many destructive reviews are allowed without any documentation. One competitive wedding planner that was offering her services, bragged about how she had manipulated the review system and slammed the brides for their stupidity in reading and believing the cooked up trash. We have enjoyed working with Ann Last and Craig Markowski along with their staff and vendors to create a perfect wedding of which we thought could not be done on our budget. more

It has been about a month since my husband and I were married at the beach on Tybee. The staff at the Savannah Beach Inn coordinated everything. It was a small, private wedding and my immediate family also stayed at the inn. Very laid back, low stress ordeal and most of all, they made it special. Any little request they said ""yes"". The inn- a few words to describe- charming, quiet, relaxing, comfortable, historic, romantic and delicious (my in laws are still talking about the breakfast!). Pretty secluded from any tourist traffic which was great for us. No, not fancy or luxurious. Yes it is clean and comfy, yes the service was excellent and yes the beach is a block away, there is a view from the inn. It was hard to leave and come back to the rat race! We will be back. We had a great Wedding and Honeymoon at Savannah Beach Inn bed and breakfast where the innkeepers, Ann and Craig made this an unforgettable romantic event. We were overwhelmed with the great hospitality and the gourmet food. more

These people completely ruined my wedding. I signed a contract with them to put on my wedding and reception 10 months prior to the wedding. They would never respond to emails or phone calls. I thought I had been ripped off and lost my money until one of them finally decided to do their job and call me back. I had my wedding and reception in the park, which requires permits. The first coordinator I had from them actually got the permits. But she quit a few months before my wedding, and since they don't know how to keep proper paperwork, they had no clue about where or when or who I was. The old senile owner stepped in to take care of my wedding, BIG MISTAKE! Her people literally threw my wedding together a week before hand. And it showed at ever aspect. We paid over Ten Grand expecting a proper wedding and reception. We did not receive this in the least. The permits their company got 9 months prior, clearly stated no glass products, and that we had to be out of the park by 10pm, meaning the reception ends at 9pm. Well this dumb ass woman didn't bother to read them till the day of the wedding. So we lost ALL our beer and wine selections! So we got some shitty boxed wine and two coolers of crap beer ( Their was suppose to be a Bar, instead she threw 2 coolers down at the end of the food table!) We planned a dinner time wedding expecting that we could celebrate into the night, not get kicked out of our own wedding by 9pm! When I asked about what our white ""Elegant"" tent would look like, she said just look at our website, those are the tents you get. And they have some beautiful tents with chandeliers and flowing fabric. But what did I get?? Some cheap white tent with bulky metal poles holding it up. It looked like something you'd see at a construction site. And it wasn't even big enough to house all the tables. Three tables of guests were sitting outside the tent. And this genius didn't even provide flooring under the tent. SO the whole time we're all walking and dancing in mud and dirt. And to top it all off, she had no copies of the contract I signed, (because this business doesn't know a thing about retaining paperwork) and tried to charge me an additional Three Grand the day before the wedding. My husband had to get into with just to get her to hold up her end of the deal. Cause we sure as hell had a copy of the contract. By this point I was just hoping she would not provide something that her company had approved in this contract just so I had a good reason to sue her ass. These people completely ruined my wedding. The only good thing about it was the DJ, last minute day of coordinator, and photographer. All of these people were contracted in by her because all her people had quit. These people were amazing, but they are apart of a completely different wedding company that she paid last minute to help her. This company was the worst decision i've ever made. more
