It was May 10, 2011 when I ate at this joint. Here it is March 3, 2013 and I am still plagued with stomach problems, the result of their Veal Parmesan! \r \r There are some strains of e-coli that stays with you until you die and there's not much you can do about it. As a result, I fall victim to diarrhea from hell. \r \r A ""Family Restaurant"" indeed. more

Watch Out For That Veal Parmesan 5/10/2011

Stopped in last Friday (May 6th) and got more than I bargained for. I only paid $13.95 for a plate full of Veal that has my stomach still in an upheaval..., four days later. more

grinders are good but last time I got one ,I got a italian mixed meat there was 2 pieces of meat and tons of lettuce ,tomatoes onoin ! piece of cheese!!!if I wanted a vegetable grinder I would have ordered1...!!! his sauce sucks, go to a real italian restaurant and get some real sauce and then tell me what u think? like mercatos in canajoharie more

I have never ever had a bad meal at Romana's. The food is really, really good and service has always been fine. The offer pizza, pasta, sandwiches, salads, calzones & more. Prices are more than fair for the portion size & quality of the food. more

They have the best grinders and calzones. You will not be disappointed with anything you order here. Be prepared for a wait to get seated on the weekend. It is worth the wait. more

Romanas has a wide selection of food. All Italian of course! The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. The food is very good and you can't go wrong with the pasta. They always have a variety of specials offered on a daily basis as well and all are wonderful!! Try this place and you won't be disappointed! Prices are reasonable and you don't have to wait forever. more

Good Italian Food 11/28/2005

This family owned and operated restaurant has been in business for many years. It is conveniently located on Route 30A (aka the Arterial) in Johnstown with many parking spots available. The menu offers seafood, poultry, and sandwich options, but the specialty is the Italian pasta dishes. I especially like the spaghetti (angel hair) with meatballs. The sauce is their own creation, and is very delicious. In fact, they were offering it for sale in jars for a while. I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant for a low price, but high quality! more
