This is a gem of a grocery store! Rosario (who the regulars call “Ross”) is the proprietor of the store who can frequently be found behind the deli counter, handing out samples of incredible salami, prosciutto, and provolone. In addition to meats and cheeses, Roma also gets a fresh bread delivery every morning (7 days a week). Try the “good and ugly” – rustic bread brushed with olive oil. The market also has canned goods and cookies imported from Italy, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables. Best kept secret – get there early enough to nab one of the fresh-baked sandwich rolls, and Ross will make you a sandwich with a variety of meats and cheeses. Molto bene!
