Rollin-On RV acquired by Pete's RV Center 7/15/2011

In early May 2011, Rollin-On RV was acquired by Pete's RV Center. With a fresh start and new ownership, we'd love to be able to wipe the slate clean and remove past reviews from online directories such as CitySearch, but it's not always easy to do so (especially since we share the same address). Therefore, we ask that you look beyond past reviews and look forward to a great experience at Pete's RV Center - Schererville, IN. Great Experiance, will highly recommend to anyone! 2/25/2010

I'm a first time camper and had a great experience at R.O. I had lots of questions being a newbie, and the salesman took the time to explain how everything works. Along with the staff being very knowledgeable, they also made sure I had the proper hitch equipment to tow my new RV to make sure that my family is safe. I shopped around quite a bit and couldn't find a better deal. Rollin On earned a lifetime customer today and I will recommend anyone shopping for a RV to stop by this dealer. Pros: Pricing, Selection, Friendly Staff more

Buyer Beware! 11/22/2009

I went to look at a trailer advertised only to find out the exact trailer elsewhere had a manufacturer suggested retail price thousands of dollars less than what these people had posted and the trailer I was looking at was actually used by the owner for the whole summer and they were tring to pass it off as new! While I was there I was talking with a man who was trying to get service on a camper he had bought recently from them and had numerous problems not to mention when he got it to the campsite it had a leak and flooded the entire trailer Pros: Convenient location Cons: Buyer Beware more

Should have listened to reviews 11/11/2009

I purchased a camper online following pictures and descriptions by the ""salesman"". What a fool I was. The price was unbelievable at nearly half off and with the salesman telling me the travel trailer was new, I was beyond myself with excitement. Little did I know, the camper was a repo with quite a few issues. When I received the camper, it looked as if they didn't wash it, prep it, etc. Straight off the lot for me I suppose. I am missing peices. I have a propane tank with no hose. No battery, cracked covers, missing bolts, etc. You need it, I'm missing it. I was notified before the sale that if I needed anything that was missing, they would simply replace it. I've been waiting over 3 months. I priced the items myself and they equal to a measly $90 from the manufacturer. I am to the point where I will file with the BBB and just purchase the peices myself. A company like Rollin-On shouldn't be allowed to be selling. They are a disgrace to the American culture. Pros: Low Price Cons: Everything else more

Beware 2/18/2009

Traveled a long way (Texas) to see this 'great' motorhome that had been rated a 8 out of 10 by the so called salesmen. When I saw the motorhome, I felt like a idiot to have traveled so far to look at this broken down vehicle. It was a pile of rubble( it would not even start). I would rate this motorhome a 2 out of a 10 (and that is being really nice). So bottom line is; If you are more than walking distance from this dealer DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME !!! Cons: Sales person not well informed on vehicle ratings more

Get it in Writing 11/11/2007

After I settled on the camper I wanted to purchase the sales person jotted down a price on a slip of paper and asked me ""How does this price look?"" it was a great deal so I accepted his offer (first mistake was not getting this in writing). When I went in to sign the papers the price was $9,000 more then what the sales person had written down, when I questioned this his response was ""Oh no, we never would have sold it to you at that price!"" When I got home I went on line and checked their status and found that they have various complaints one of which was similar to my experience. My advise: take time to shop around, get everything in writing, if feeling pressured by sales person walk away and once you decide on a dealer go on line and check them out. more

Horrible Service Department 10/19/2007

Service department is extremely slow. Took our new camper out for a two week trip and found 7 problems, took it in for service and it has now been there for over 3 months. As far as we're concerned they sell over priced garbage. We also did not receive the promised incentives when we purchased our camper. more
