For $80 per head with a wine pairing on Valentine's Day, one would expect great presentation and food. Not so. The average food selections were made even more ordinary when the wine glasses arrived and were just placed in front of us - what was I drinking, why with this dish, etc? This place is supposed to be for culinary fans to be witness to outstanding food from outstanding chefs. However, what we got was a pre-fixe menu with an unprepared cast, leaving the diner to simply just eat.
We asked if there was anything that we could pick on before the courses arrive, perhaps some bread? The server said ""normally we have bread, but not tonight"".
I don't not think they stack up against the other restaurants in HMB, let alone the classic culinary experience it claims to be.
Pros: Good concept, Atmosphere
