On the day of the move, Mike and his team made everything go so smoothly that it wasn’t half as stressful as I thought it would be. Gale called the day they were supposed to arrive to make sure that we were still on schedule because we were closing on our new house on the same day that we were moving. Unfortunately, we had to push back closing by a couple of days. Gale was very understanding and did not charge us any rescheduling fee (even though they could). Once they did show up, they were extremely helpful. We had to move into our new house while the 2nd floor was still under renovation so most things were going in the garage besides our bed, a couch, and all the baby's things. We gave them a list (which happened to be incomplete) of the items that we wanted in the basement. When they saw items that they thought we would need, they would ask us anyway if the item should go in the basement or not. With some items, it was our mistake and thank god that they asked us because we forgot to put that on the list. Rockland Movers the best movers and a great service! more

Being from the military I have used many movers and seldom does it go smoothly. The reality is moving can be a messy ordeal and unless the crew is organized and trained things will go wrong. I am so tired of companies giving broken promises. I almost lost hope that there is still one great company that will live up to their customer's expectations and keep their promises. Indeed. Such types of companies still exist. Rockland Movers kept their promises to make sure that they will have a timely move and none of my things will be stolen, lost, or broken. They did a really great job in my opinion! I think it is definitely about time for other companies to be true to their words if they fear the possibility of closing in the future. Rockland Movers was the perfect company to pick for my move from NY to AL. Ronald and his crew were fantastic! They were right on time, they worked very hard and they were very respectful. It is the first time that I used the services of Rockland movers for shifting my home to FL. So impressed, am I with their work that I have decided to call them for assistance on every house move. I even recommended them to one of my colleague who asked me about a good company to whom she should contact for shifting her location. Quickness, collaboration and coordination among the Rockland guys were superb. They knew what they were doing and they were thoroughly enjoying every task. None of them showed a signal of tiredness on his face while packing the heavy stuff. They were punctual too. The guys went on a lunch break around 2 in the afternoon though it was an hour break but all of them came back in just 35 minutes and resumed to work like before. They organized my belongings with utmost care and did not damage anything even during the long transit. They delivered all the things in proper packing and great conditions. I paid them the same amount as was quoted to me on the phone call when I booked an appointment with them. I liked their transparency and honesty. more

I was not very keen to call any movers to help us in shifting our luggage, reasons – short distance between piedmont to Oakland where we were moving and another the past reviews about moving services. I had heard a lot that the mover are not reliable, your precious things make break in transit and so on. However; there was nothing else that I could do instead of calling them due to shortage of time that we had for shifting and so I called and fixed an appointment. I choose Rockland movers. The guys from movers were courteous, polite and very informative in the meeting. The rate that they quoted for the services was much low than what I expected it to be. I was glad to know that I can save some money but was doubtful of service quality at low rate. Anyhow, we discussed and finalized the date of moving. The guys came well in time, they carried all the necessary things to tie and pack our stuff. They were very organized as they properly counted the things and make a note of it before packing and moving. I was surprised and happy too. After watching them working with diligence throughout the day till we finally shifted, I would say that calling them was worth every penny. They are amazing. All my doubts about movers service has vanished. I would recommend them to anyone. more

I know some of your are skepticle, but bbb has good and bad reviews for everyone. Not every customer can be satisfied but when I have a household of goods moved from one state to far away and everything arrived on time and undamaged, I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I want to tell everyone of my move experience and how easy the company I chose made it for me and my family. I was laid off of my job in NJ and had a new position in Dever which was going to change my and my families life. I search the internet and got many quotes, after speaking with my sales man Thomas a few times I felt very comfortable with Rockland. Thomas was very upfront about delivery time and pricing. When the movers got here the began to wrap everything, packed all our collectables securely and made my wife breathe slow which for me was the best. The move time was 16 days and when they delivered it was a different team but just as professional as the Jersey squad. I am completely happy and so is my wife and kids.
