Rockdale Tae Kwon DO Karate

While bringing my 14 year old son to this karate school, I felt bad for another young boy, who didn't get fair treatment. The instructors, mainly the head instructor, he would lose his temper with the little boy, who was about 6 or 7years old, on a number of times we attended. it was because the boy seem to have problems with some of the kicks. they would not let the boy advance, and let all the other students pass him up, that didn't do as good as this boy. it seems, it's who you know at this school that makes the differance. I am a 11 year old girl and I have been taking here for about 6 years now. I am almost a black-belt in this school because I have learned so much! I started when I was only 5 and I love it! The instructors here help you a lot! The office ladie is so nice! Sometimes I sit in there and talk to her! The head instructor is so funny and helpful! So are all the other instructors! We play games at the end of classes after we get done with our lesson of the day. The classes are worth the money they are 45 minutes long and long enough for exercise and other things to learn. I am only 11, but I love doing karate and taking here. I have loved it for 6 years. I world recomend this for ANYONE or ANY AGE! :] Thanks!!!! Pros: Great instructors and classes! Great School! I know more about taekwondo then any of these instructors, I took my two kids here at this school. it's a waste of time and money. they will advance these kids, belt after belt., even if they don't come close to deserving the promtion. the head instructors wife, mrs. I've been taking my kids to this school for the last 2-3 years and I have gotten a big return on my investment. Some schools in the area will only allow you to attend 2 times a week for the same price. At Rockdale Karate, your kids can attend up to 6 times a week (if your schedule permits). Mr. Kinder and his staff are great! They become an extension of your family. The business is professionally ran and I've very pleased. Take time out and visit..you won't be disappointed! more

My son was five and a half when he started attending the school and will be eight this winter. He has really enjoyed the experience and after a few classes, wanted to continue on until he was a black belt like the instructors. They strive to make the experience a well rounded one expecially for the little kids. They teach them by having fun. Most of the time the little ones do not know they are really learing. We tried my son in a couple of other schools before deciding on Rockdale Karate. The other schools were more expensive, had fewer days you could attend and did not seem to teach them anything while they were visiting. Rockdale Karate taught my child the proper bow on the first day. It is a great school of Tae Kwon Do instruction and I am grateful we found it. Pros: Price and schedule times more

My son has been here for a couple of years and it has really helped him mature. Place is well run and instructors insist on respect to others and respect for the discipline of Taekwondo. Students are allowed to progress at their own pace and are not allowed to test for advancement until they have proven they are ready. They have been in business for many years and instructors are well respected. Have never heard any of the other parents say anything negative about them. Highly recommend! the head instructor Keith Kinder, is the worst instructor you can find. if he is teaching the class, it is a wasted hour. he will show the class as little as possibile. The other instructors are not much better. Mr. Kinders wife in the office, is the most ill-mannered person you will ever meet, a total B * * * *. please go somewhere else. My kids have been involved with Rockdale Karate for 6 years. With Rockdale Karate you don't have to sign a contract to take the classes, which sometimes can be a problem for kids because they can change their minds from one month to the next. At Rockdale Karate you pay month to month and the rates are resonable. Rockdale Karate has been in Conyers for 22 years which speaks alot for the company. PROS: No contracts. CONS: more
