Rock Paper Scissors

I just got back from Rock Paper Scissors and the long drive home gave me enough time to get my wits together after being so blatantly disrespected by the girl that works in this store. I went in this morning ready to purchase custom invitations for daughter's birthday party this year. I was never truly greeted when I walked in, and had I not gotten the attention of the girl, I highly doubt she would have even acknowledged my presence. I explained to the girl (sorry, I never got her name) that my husband had already designed the invitations and that I only needed them printed. She explained that it would be ""too hard for the designer"". Too hard for the designer?! It's already designed! I just wanted a square cardstock, but that would also be too complicated for the designer. The square cardstock was sitting right there!!! Then she proceeded to tell me if they could cut the paper (even though it was already available) to my liking it would probably be ""too expensive for me"". I'm not sure what kind of profiling they are doing to their customers, but I have never been so insulted in my life. To be honest, I would be willing to spend anything for these invitations. I'm pretty sure this girl can't look into my bank account when I walk in. I mean, isn't the purpose of a store to SELL something? She never told me how much anything would cost, only that it was too expensive for me. All this means to me is that what I wanted was actually possible, but I clearly couldn't afford what I was willing to pay for! Then she directed me to Kinkos (ANOTHER STORE!!) to spend my money. I guess in her mind that's what I could afford. Stay away from this store! I emailed the owner of the store and she wrote back basically saying, ""i'm sorry you feel that way..."" She also recommended another store, but mentioned they they were ""difficult to work with"". Oh, the irony! Do Franklin a favor and let them go out of business! Social Graces in Nashville is worth the drive. They are sweet and easy to work with. I called them and they said it wouldn't be a problem to do what I needed. I do not recommend this store. I purchased in house paper and envelopes for some custom stationary and am highly disappointed by a number of things. \r \r First is the price. Ridiculous! I knew it would be pricey but $25 more then other stationary stores in town (I have since had to order my stationary from another store). \r \r Second, their staff is rude. They made a mistake and somehow it is now all my fault. The lady actually called me out for not returning her email in a timely fashion when she was almost 5 days late sending me a proof and I had to call THEM to see what the delay was. I was promised a week for everything and we are already well past a week. \r \r Of course now they will not refund my money. I understand that is not something businesses like to do but when your staff has been so rude to a customer and now they are well over the promised time frame something should be done to appease the customer. Apparently they do so much business that they just don't care about keeping people happy. \r \r I could go on but will just leave it at this....\r Go to Social Graces, and if that is out of your budget, good ole' Hallmark is still better then this place. more
