Equinox quality for half the price 1/7/2009

Great gym. For about $85 a month, you get great classes with great instructors, top notch machines, and spotlessly clean locker rooms and facilities. There people who work there are friendly, as are the other members. Oh, and it's open very late (I think almost 24 hours), if you're a night owl. Really a wonderful neighborhood gym. Pros: Classes, cleanliness, hours, price Cons: Only one location more

Great Neighborhood Gym that Beats Commercial Places Like NYSC 12/20/2008

I live only 2 blocks away, so this my most convenient gym. I'm here 3-5 days a week and I've been going here for almost 3 years. I don't do classes I just lift weights and do 1-2 miles of intense running. I hear the girls love the bounce class. The gym is kept clean, it has a sauna/steam room and it has a rock climbing wall to make things less mundane. Overall the crowd is nice and the girls who check me in are always super friendly(not to mention very attractive). Pros: Equipment and Atmosphere Cons: Sauna was broken for a month and a half, so happy its back up and running. more

Great gym, annoying classmates 4/2/2008

I loved this gym when I first started- It's clean, well-maintained and the class instructors are great. However I eventually stopped going last fall because of all the ditzy girls showing up late to yoga classes and disrupting the meditative process. I complained to the gym about it before and they tried to take care of it, but the yoga instructors themselves are so easy-going they never enforce the rules about showing up late. Pros: Clean, friendly staff Cons: irritating classmates more
