The Rock has truly been a great blessing to me. Although I've only been going to the Rock on and off over a period of time, the truth is, that God truly is fully operating spiritually in that church. The love that the Pastor has for his congregation is clearly demonstrated in his love for teaching God's word in truth. Truly this man of God is quite an anointed one. For he truly speaks in directness of speech and with an unwavering love towards others. Another words, he preaches the word of God by way of instructional allowing for anyone to truly grasp, learn, apply, and grow spiritually. The praise and worship team is quite amazing and truly spiritually driven. The united voices is liken to a choir of Angels hoovering over everyone that visits that church. With regards to the various ministries being offered at the church, let's just say that whatever your needs are for spiritual growth, rest assured that at the Rock you will surely fine it. And if you have a passion for ministry, truly that will be the place to begin your seed planting.\r \r God bless everyone at the Church especially all the Pastors who faithfully adhere to there calling and servitude towards others.\r more

Wonderful Church 5/14/2012

The first day I walked in to this church, I felt right at home. They have an awesome children's ministry. My son was so happy and excited when the children's service was over. I am so amazed on how well I fit in to this church. I had been looking for a home church for quite sometime. I just recently recommitted my life to the Lord and I am grateful to be in a church that loves people and worries about their salvation. The pastor preaches right from the bible and does not sugar coat anything. He is straight foward with his message and tells you the truth!!! I am sorry that other people may feel differently. I am so glad that I am attending this church and I am looking forward to getting involved in some of their ministries real soon! more

To the person who wrote the scathing review of the Rock Church and their pastors, I will pray for you. You have obviously been blinded to the Word that is being taught at the Rock. \r \r Your ugly remarks about the neighborhood and most of the people that live there sounded so much like hate. Instead of putting them down you need to pray for them? You know nothing about them or their circumstances. Don't be so quick to judge. That's God's job! We are called to show them love and compassion and that is exactly what our pastors do.\r \r As for the money issue not a problem Don't give. That simple. God wants cheerful giver.Nobody guilts you into giving. That is called conviction. You give in obedience to God.\r \r As for your remarks regarding the pastors, you don't know what you are talking about. They owe no one an explanation for where they live and what they have or don't have. They have been blessed because they serve God in all they do. They are passionate about spreading more

This is a great church! 12/31/2008

This is a rare church. I have been going there for over ten years and I am amazed when I see the thousands of people who get fed every week, I watch people who need to get their high school diploma participate in the GED classes, I have been at the park in San Bernardino and watched hundreds of kids get their school supplies for the upcoming school year, I know families that have been encouraged through the special needs ministry and others who take part in the deaf, prison, convalescent, marraige, alcohol and multiple ministries that are offered free to the community. Pros: A great example of what a Christian church should be. Cons: Traffic, leaving after service. more

a challenging and refreshing place for your spirt to be revived!!! 9/18/2008

I had attended a church in Yucaipa for a few years, and then I was invited to the Rock. This church IS NOT fake or phony!!! The pastors LOVE the city, and the people in it. I have never seen a Pastor get on his knees at the pulpit to pray before he preaches. He also asks God to bless all the other churches, and EVEN names them by NAME. These pastors obviously do not feel threatened. Pros: Pastors love Jesus and preach the Bible. Cons: Can't really think of any. more
