SCARY!!!! 3/12/2014

Scary!!! Scary!!! Please go else where!! Dr. Totin performed a front de-claw on our cat...after surgery when his face began to swell and his temp. rise she explained "perhaps he ate a bug or a spider bit him" REALLY???!!! That same day at 9:30 pm we received a call from the vet tech to come pick him up and take him the ER hospital!! Scared out of our minds we raced him to Blue Pearl ER. They watched over our cat all night as his temperature continued to rise. By 8am we were back at the Rochester Vet to have the Dr. check him out. Seems she was only concerned about getting him out of there as to avoid any further complications and wash her hands of any liability. They were happy to get our amex and charge us the full amount ($357.50) even though the cat was there for only 12 hours as opposed to the 48 hours after care we were told he would receive. Initially, he was to have pain medicine 2x/day for 7 days. they sent us home with nothing!! When we called with concerns and a few question more

I had taken my Akita to a few different vets in the area. A friend recommended them to me, and I went. Dr. Harris and Dr. Totin have been my vet ever since. Very professional and compassionate. Always offered multiple options for treatment. When "The Day" came and it was time to put my beloved Samson down, the whole staff was helpful and caring beyond words. I've found that the services they provide are a great value, relative to the cost. I've been to other vets in the area that charged over twice what they charged for the treatment of the same symptoms. Dr. Harris always offered me treatment options and worked with me towards a best treatment option. When the time comes for me to get another dog, I will trust them to give it professional care. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks so much to Dr. Harris and the whole staff! more

Great care for your pet 1/6/2009

We have been taking our cat to RVH for a few years now. Our cat is 17 years old and recently passed away but the care that RVH provided was awesome. more

Expensive! 4/10/2008

Ordered tests on my animal that were unecessary. My bill for a standard cat check has never been this high at any other place. I also did not think that the service was that great. more

Good Docs - Expensive service 2/26/2008

They have a nice staff and well-qualified Vets, however, they are extremely expensive compared to other facilities. They recently stopped offering payment plans, which is quite difficult when you have multiple pets. They recommended tests that were not needed on my dogs - which was confirmed after receiving a second opinion. more

great animal hospital 10/23/2006

This is a really great animal hospital, they not only treat cats and dogs, but exotic pets as well.They have an extensive amount of services, and the staff are very helpful. more
