The salesman was nice, the installers were great. The install department treated us like a number. Instead of a phone call to schedule the install, we got a small postcard telling us to call them. After the install, I noticed two minor mistakes in a window. I called the install department and nobody called me back on three attempts. I called my salesman who gave me no help, so I called his boss (or the boss's voicemail). It was THEN I got a call back. They called back 2 weeks later to schedule someone to come out and look at the problem. That guy was super nice. Then I heard NOTHING for 6 weeks, and even after calling the install dept and again the salesman, got no answer on an eta. 6 weeks after original install, someone came out to fix the problem (which was them cutting corners in the first place). I would never reccommend this place and would never do business with them again. I've used Rochester Colonial for a number of years and I am happy with their products, they have the best on the market. But it's their installers that have made it a great experience. I?ve dealt with a number of sub contractors over the years and with the exception of a few it?s been a trying experience. When it came time to look for replacement windows I put my trust in Rochester Colonial, they?ve earned it. \r \r Pros: Have their own crews. I was dissatisfied with Rochester Colonial from the moment we handed them the check for our new doors. They were late installing our new doors, they were constantly making excuses, and they even went as far as insulting my wife!!! After one year of having our new doors I have had problems with the installation. I HIGHLY recommend staying away from Rochester Colonial if you're looking for a new door/window.
