Love Robinsons! 12/3/2010

My family has shopped there for years. Some days the store is in shambles as a previous poster said but this is from the customers not the staff as they work hard to keep all in order when they're not assisting customers. We have found everything from lawn tractors, new for $500. 1/4 the retail as well as clothing, electronics, shoes, groceries (none with weevils or out dated) and otc medications all in good shape. I always try to stop by there on a Tues. or Fri. pm as they have the great bakery fresh bread for a small price. I've never had a problem getting information or assistance when I need or want it and am always welcomed with how are you today. Love seeing a christian work ethic and the great people there, as well as all the great bargains! more

Too high price for salvage 3/16/2010

I have gone in Robinson Salvage numerous times looking for deals. Sometimes I have found a good deal but for the most part it is damaged items that you could find at another store in new condition for less. The shelves have no kind of organizing and the last time I bought cereal there, I ended up with a cupboard full of weavels. Furniture when they have it is WAY overpriced. I guess what I am saying is just because it is a salvage store, don't expect to get great deals and check out prices elsewhere before you buy. Pros: good mix of stuff at times Cons: Dirty/Unorganized/Overpriced more

The store is always very junky. It is extremely hard to find someone to help you. The store doesn't feel clean. But, I have been able to find a few bargains here. Sometimes I think things are still too expensive. more

Not all it could be! 7/22/2006

I have been going to Robinson's Salvage for years now. but just the other day realized I have never really gotten an outstanding deal here! \r You walk in the store which is understandable in shambles (it's a salvage store after all), expecting to find great deals,,,,but in all honesty for the condition of many things...the price is too high!! I have never really found a treasure here!\r If the prices were lower I think it would be more productive for the shopper's. But who wants to buy a baby girl's dress originally $60 for $20....and keep in mind it has probably been through a fire! HOw about make it $5! That seems more fair and reasonable!\r WIll I continue to stop by Robinson's? Yes, probably..but I will know that it isn't what it could be, and I know that DEALS won't be the result of the digging!! PROS: CONS: pricey, damaged goods, not helpful staff, poor air quality more

Like a treasure hunt for bargain shoppers! 10/19/2005

You never know what you'll find at Robinson Salvage ... nor how good the bargains will be ... but you'll almost always find something you want or need!!! Their inventory simply depends on what types of close-outs or other salvage they've been able to obtain. I've seen everything from food to health and beauty items, to wedding dresses, to Wal-mart clothes, to Leather goods, to home appliances, to the bathroom sink! The items will range in condition from brand new, in the box, can't tell there's anything in the world wrong with it ... to been in a fire and noticeably smoke damaged and half melted. You just have to be picky and find what you need in the condition you want it in. You can occasionally get some super deals ... like a $600 golf club for $30 ... or a pair of $65 men's jeans for $2. I tend to avoid the grocery area ... but I was more than happy to buy a perfectly good bathroom vanity for a fraction of the cost of the exact same vanity at Home Depot or another home improv more
