Harassment and false claims - BEWARE! 8/28/2016

This place has some old geezer on a golf cart that has nothing better to do than run around and accuse folks (like me) of running over his wife's dog. He had no idea what car I drove - just went off on me. When I tried to discuss it with him he blasted me again and just started driving he golf cart off. Then his grandson comes up and tries to accuse me of the same thing - he said "I saw you do it". I asked him which car I drove - he pointed to the wrong one. He walked off as well and would not discuss.\r \r These people do not know me well. You cant go around accusing folks of stuff like that and expect there to be no legal recourse. I have also called their business repeatedly to see if there was anyone there that was the least bit reasonable to discuss this with - no return calls. \r \r I will do everything I can within my legal rights to ensure that everyone I know - knows of this situation and the type of business they run. I will take every legal action that I can to ensure o more

Ticks! 11/14/2010

We've had our dog home for only a week and have already pulled 16 ticks off of her. She has never had a single tick before this. Staff was nice enough but make sure your dog is up to date on flea and tick meds!!! more

Always happy with Robinhood service and staff 6/11/2007

I've been taking my Lhasa Apso to Robin Hood Kennels for nearly ten years. Although he hates to have to be boarded, I feel confident in leaving him in their care. The staff is professional and friendly. Even though my dog is tempermental (he's 13), the staff always seem to be glad to have Riley and all seem to have a great love for animals. The small dogs all have their own spacious pens with doors leading out to fenced in, grassy, spots. The Kennel itself is in a beautiful, rural setting. Jay, on staff there, once described Robin Hood Kennels as "doggie camp" and I have to agree! ;-p more

Nice people but 9/14/2006

Crowded, noisy, but most of all -- after two ok stays, the third time my dog came home with a wounded nose, ripped bedding, and had to be washed before release because she got in the mud. Just can't trust it anymore. Pros: Good price, follow directions for personal care well, excellent staff attitude Cons: Crowded, dog was injured while there more

Dogs come home with virus, kennal does not care 9/7/2005

My husband and I greatly care for our two dogs and they have their yearly checks and shots at the vet and heartworm and flea treatments ever month. While away for four days, we took our dogs to Robinhood kennals. When we went to pick them up, they came home in diarria. they were covered and their stuff was covered from head to toe. The next day they both got sick with a virus. When I called the kennal to hear if other dogs were sick, they did not want to answer my question. PROS: CONS: bed service, no care for dogs more

The original facilities consisted of 16 outdoor half covered runs,5 small indoor built-in block kennels,and a handful of wire cages for cats. For over 40 years of serving the Tallahassee area,this small family owned and operated business has continued to grow and improve. The present version of Robinhood offers 5 separate buildings with over 90 large runs for dogs,most of which are climate controlled,as well as another climate controlled building just for cats. Still our mission remains the same: to offer safe,clean and comfortable boarding spaces for the pets placed in our care and do so at a reasonable price. The facilities are designed to give pets plenty of space,and provide maximum comfort in order that their stay can be a happy and healthy one.
