Very nice facility paid for by overcharged clients like us for a collection fee on a dog where no results were achieved. Very disappointed.

Rude, no empathy, poor care 10/30/2010

Took my dog to emergancy clinic and was treated so poorly had to leave. Vet Jennifer McDonnell voiced she was "Just an employee" Only concerned about payment, didn't show any feelings what so ever. Waited one hour when my dog was in bad shape, and after the hour still no care. I would never take any animal to this vet, expecially if Jennifer McDonnell is there. She said she couldn't hear a heartbeat, when she had stethoscope over fist size wound, then acted like the wound was old, when we had told her what had happened. Treated us like we didn't have a lick of sense and was more concerned about payment. She will be reported to Vet Board. more

caring to my "children" 12/28/2005

My "children" consists of 3 dogs and a cat. Reidsville Vet has taken care of all of them. We have been going to them for over 20 years. They have had to put my husband's baby to sleep ( and they actually cried with him when it happened). The main doctor here has won many dog shows. But what really draws me back is the personal attention my animals get when they come. Usually we see the same doctor each time we come and she takes the time to communicate with each one. My dogs especially seem to calm down when they see her because she is so soothing to them. I can not imagine taking them anywhere else for their health care. more

  • Reidsville Veterinary Hospital is a full service small and large animal practice with 24 hour emergency service. We have a board certified opthamologist and a board certified large animal doctor as part of our team of 9 veterinarians. Dr. Kinnarney holds a Masters in Reproductive Physiology along with his DVM and is well known in breeding circles for his expertise in this area.
    We offer the latest in medical technology including computer enhanced radiology and digital dental x-Ray. We perform both reproductive and diagnostic ultrasounds. Acupuncture and Shockwave therapy are availble for both our large and small animal patients. Our practice focuses on preventative wellness plans to discover problems before they become major life threatening issues.
    Emergency Hours:: The hospital is open after 5:30 pm weekdays and from Saturday after 12 noon until Monday at 7:00 a.m. for emergencys. We have technical staff and a veterinarian on site to care for your pet in case of a medical crisis. Our Large Animal doctors are also on call every day and night to be there for you.
    Our hospital boasts a large boarding kennel with 24 hour on site attendants (one of the only one in the state) and of course 24 hour medical supervision for all boarding pets. Playtime is available in our large fenced yard and our staff loves to offer dogs a swim in the pool during warm weather. Vaccinations are required for the protection of all our visitors. Boarding drop off and pick up hours are the same as daytime practice with the exception of Sunday pickup time between 9am - 10 am on Sunday morning.
    We offer a full line of Hills Science and Prescription Diets along with Royal Canine hypoallergic foods and Purina specialty diets.
