Where do I start? I bought a spa cover from Roberts Hot Tubs because of price and the promise of ""arrival in 3 weeks"" (2 week production + 6 days shipping). My order confirmation then immediately noted it would be 4 weeks due to the ""busy season"". After 5 weeks with no phone call or email explanation for the delay, I contacted RHT, who said my spa cover was still in production (!), but they would ""put a rush on it"" (!?) \r
\r
RHT boasts of ""free delivery shipped via UPS"". No it's not. It's shipped via a series of no-name transit companies. And it doesn't arrive in 6 days - I could have carried the cover on my back and walked from their plant in California to my home in Georgia faster than the 15 days it took to deliver.\r
\r
For my troubles, RHT included a thermal blanket for free, which arrived with a gaping hole, frayed and scratched, with size 11 shoe prints clearly showing in the dirty fabric. I threw it in the trash, which is probably what the previous owner did before RHT dug it out to send to me.\r
\r
So, if you want to wait 2 months with no communication from a company, and take a chance on what they will send you in order to save a few dollars, then order from Roberts Hot Tubs. Seriously, there are dozens of Spa companies out there that are faster, will treat you better, and at a similar price.\r
