Tropical fruits are a specialty here. You can find among other fruits: jujubees, caimitos, sapodillas, canistel, black sapotes, mamey sapotes, passion fruits, tamarinds, Asian guavas, Monstera Deliciosa, which looks like a giant green ear of corn but tastes like banana and pineapple, carambolas, or "Star Fruits," mameys, lychees, papayas; and in the summer Robert's pride and joy - MANGOES! more

The key lime pie milkshake is to die for. I watched them place a whole slice of pie in the blender! The second time I got it though it tasted a little different..but it was still good. The sugarcane juice is good as well. more

I always go to drink their shakes and smooties. They have such a wide variety of fruit flavors, you're bound to find something you like. And they are delicious and cheap. more

If you've ever wanted to try a (fill in the blank) you'll find it here. Every exotic fruit you can imagine, and even some you'd rather not. (Can you say 90 lb jack fruit?) Love, love love the dragon fruit/passion fruit shake. Felt like I was drinking a barbie doll confection of sweet pink deliciousness. Don't miss their jams and honeys. I included a calmodin marmalade in all of my gift baskets this year and people could not stop raving about it. Also love the amaretto honey. more

I stopped by Robert is Here and tried one of their famous Key Lime Milkshakes. It was like drinking a key lime pie in a liquid form. Very good!\r \r I also checked out some of their fruit. They have all sorts of tropical fruit, a lot of which I've never heard of. One problem is that it's all rather expensive, even the locally grown stuff from the farms surrounding the fruit stand. I bought a Florida Mango and a Mamay (tastes like pumpkin pie), and it came out to $9 for the two pieces of fruit. Definitely way overpriced! I'm sure there are other farm stands around that don't advertise in the Turnpike rest areas that are much cheaper... more
