This place takes me back to my youth (looong time ago). I feel like I'm so welcome when I come in the door. The temperature is always just right. They really support neighborhood activities and often offer local films as well as big time movies. The popcorn is a gourmet's delight. As cheap as this theatre is, I urge you not to bring your own treats. Their treats are great! Pros: Cheap ticket prices, GREAT popcorn more

If the retro charm doesn't get you, the popcorn will......plus you get a cheap movie to boot! The Riverview Theater is a must-see. more

Beautiful neighborhood theater with great decor and wonderful sound system 10/11/2006

First off, best popcorn I've ever had. They do it old school with real butter melted right there! The theater was redone in the 50's and everything is original besides the actual theater which has new comfortable seats and a great sound system. Friendly service, very clean, and only $2 for a show. Pros: Clean, beautiful 50's decor, great sound system Cons: second run movies more
