River's Edge was re-opened on April 10, 2012, by new owners Bob & Darla Feil, with Executive Chef James Daw at the proverbial culinary helm. Chef James used to be at The Nunan Estate/Carriage House in Jacksonville until it closed, so if you've been there, you may recognize him. For appetizers, we had the beef skewers, calamari & ahi tuna - YUM!!! I had the lamb shank with mushroom risotto - amazing! All new, pleasingly eclectic, pacific-asian-esque menu; new staff; fresh paint; new decor - FANTASTIC, and packed (a good thing!). Icy beer & great selection of the same. Good wine list too. They also do a Sunday brunch, but I haven't checked it out yet - have heard good things though.
