Riverbend Sandler Pools

I agree with MollyB15. I'm living the nightmare right now. Started construction without any notification and didn't even bother knocking on the door. Just tore down the fence and moved the back hoe in. Good thing the dogs were in the house. It has only gotten worse from there. Never see a project manager and when I do they are clueless. I have pointed out more issues/mistakes to them then they have caught themselves. I'd let them make their own mistakes but it would only perpetuate my misery. I'd say it was just my bad luck but my friends had a similar experience so I think it's a trend and not a coincidence. Would never recommend them. more

Recently switched pool cleaning services from another company to Riverbend Sandler and we are very happy with the prompt service. They actually take the time to test and measure the water and chemicals, unlike the prior pool cleaning service. more

This is the 2nd pool we have built and the experience was top notch. They were very professional from start to finish. The only problems we had were weather related and unavoidable, but they even apologized for those. The pool/deck is beautiful. We have a 40,000 gallon diving pool. We would recommend Riverbend and build another with them if we ever moved. But I will say-- I never want to move! My backyard has been transformed into an entertaining paradise! Thanks guys!! We met with 3 pool companies before deciding on one to build a pool for us, one of them being Riverbend Sandler. We told them we wanted a geometric pool with no curves because it fit our style and that of the rest of the house. We do have a large backyard that has about 3 foot slope from the back of the house to the back fence. We met with them so that they could show us their design, and the pool had a big curve in it. It was also also placed very close to our house - when I asked why, the designer said because it is cheaper - then they don't have to grade the rest of the yard. Bottom line, we didn't care for the design but were very polite, told them what we would like changed, and told them when we were going to make a decision by. He said he would get back to us with an updated design. Well, we never heard from them again. So, my thoughts are that they do not want to put in the time to custom design a pool for a backyard that takes some thought. They just plunked some prefab plan they had into our yard hoping we would like it. We were not impressed with that. We are building a big expensive pool, and I would expect more service from the start. We obviously chose another pool builder. more

I have had my pool serviced by riverbend for over 5 years. Every year seems to be some issue about caring for the pool. I speak to them directly in the hope they do take care of the problem as I know how difficult it is to find good help in businesses today. Every time I have called I'm always given the tone of "uncaring" about the complaint and they seem like they are going out of their way to deal with it as if they are doing me a favor. Well, I have finally had it. This is a service and I am paying. If I did that in my business I would be out of business, and dallas is not short on pool service businesses. Today I called and cancelled my service and waited to see if someone would ask "is there a reason you are discontinuing our service". No instead it was the same not really giving a care in the world. So I offered it to them. I recommend people looking for a good service for your pool. Smaller places are in greater competion for your business and are kinder and much more concered. The mistake I made and many of us make is that we are too busy and just dont want to look. This goes for homeowners and car insurance .. they always start low and get high after a few years and you let it go unnoticed. So be proactive! Dump the cancer earlier. more

The supervisor was never on the site, and was impossible to work with. Mark Munole would show up after the work had been done wrong, then it would have to be redone.
