My husband and I visited this adorable little cottage-turned-restaurant on a Saturday for lunch while staying in the area. It was a chilly day, but the tables outside in the sun were just warm enough to be pleasant with a teapot of steaming tea served with a matching cup and saucer. Our server was kind and attentive even though the place was incredibly busy; he made it seem like we were his only table, even though we could tell he was equally as attentive to his other patrons. The decor of the restaurant is sweet and clean, but the FOOD was the star of the show. The chef is apparently award-winning in Texas, and it is easy to see why! We both tried the Mushroom & Broccoli Quiche, I had the pumpkin soup, and my husband had the potato soup. All was divine -- even the homemade salad dressings! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and plated beautifully. I would say it was the highlight of our day! We will definitely be back -- next time, with friends!
Pros: WONDERFUL food, service, and ambience!
Cons: None!
