I just had a new fence and gates installed by River City Fence and I can tell you they are the best. I checked out several companies and River City Fence was very competitive, as a matter of fact their price was one of the lowest. It seems so hard today to get anything done right the first time, however I was pleasantly surprise by how professional their employee's are. It was done right the first time with no problems at all. I have recommended them to my friends and neighbors because I know they too will get a great fence and done right the first time. Thanks more

Business - not politics !!! 8/29/2011

Good Grief... Let's get a grip here folks. This is a FENCE company, not a religious or political front ! They were hired to do a job. If they were to decline to do a job, they could have been sued for discrimination - regardless of who's politics it was. Grow up - If you are going to do a review - write about it's work ethics, the quality of their work, or something that would be USEFUL !! We have used River City Fence for years. They have built both wrought iron and wood fences for us. The fences have stood up to many tests of weather and time - and they are still in excellent condition. Their prices are very reasonable. We recommend them highly. more

More Kudos 10/25/2007

I agree with kkooyer that River City Fence Co deserves kudos for not backing down to pressure against Planned Parenthood. I pray for their employees that the harassment they get at the work site is not detrimental to their health or their work. Planned Parenthood has just as much right to a fence on their property as any of the protesters (who I'm sure all have fences around their yards). more

Best fence company around 10/25/2007

KUDOS to this company for not backing down in their decision to continue the construction of the fence for Planned Parent Hood. What would be an ultimate jewel would be for them to donate some of their materials and or time for this life saving organization that helps all walks of life. more

Does not return phone calls! 10/22/2007

I have tried to communicate by phone and letter to discuss a matter affecting many Sacramento residents regarding a fence that is being built by this company, and they have not returned my phone call or received a response in any form. Obviously, this company does not care about community concerns, and doesn't even make an effort to discuss the matter. That tells me a lot about it's management and I will not do business with them ever. more

This business refused to take into consideration concerns posed by Sacramento community members at a site where one of their fences was being constructed. River City Fence Co. was constructing a fence for a business that posed community wide concern and refused to even adress or discuss the issue with the community. Due to the sensitivity of the issue, other sites using this fencing company may be frustrated to find their business also receiving negative community attention. more
