This place has pretty good food. The food is a bit different than your mainstream Japanese food you'd find in the States. I've heard it's what you'd find in Japan -- basically, people come here to drink and the food is what is typcially served with drinks in Japan. The food is a bit expensive but good. If you'd like to experience a bit of Japan in NYC, this is probably a good place as this place is full of expats. The one downside is that if you don't speak Japanese or come in with a white person, they may turn you away claiming that there are no tables but if you act like you don't understand what they are saying (since their English is so poor) they may end up letting you in.
