Riga is in the lobby of a hotel, so I think a lot of their customers are probably NYC tourists and business travelers. Basically, being a NJ resident and an Italian I appreciate the vast number of great Italian restaurants in the NY-NJ area. If you're a business traveler and need a quick, fairly priced dinner then Riga is a good option. But if you're a tourist in the area you're doing yourself a disservice by settling for Riga when there's so many great Italian restaurants in northern NJ and in NYC.
Riga is nice, fairly priced. Has a nice bar area as well. I was there on a Fri night and the service was on the slow side. Food was nothing to write home about. Very average. Pasta seemed microwaved.
