My husband and I went into Rick's for a couple of slices of pizza (one of the few places I've found around town that even sells pizza by the slice). When the hostess, a very nice young lady, offered us indoor seating instead of take out, we said why not. It was one of the best culinary decisions we've made since we were actually in New York recently. We started out with the pizza - you don't get much closer to NY pizza than this. Absolutely incredible, crunchy thin crust and you can tell high quality cheese. Next we chose to split a pasta dish - we went with the Clams in Red Sauce Fra Diavlo with cappellini. BEST Clam sauce we have ever had. We will absolutely be back. A very solid five star rating. more

Best Pizza around Town 3/8/2012

This place is the best pizza we have found in years. My fiance and I are both from up north and can never find a good NY Style Pizzeria until now. This pizza is almost better than some pizzeria's in NY. The food is priced really well, the quality is always on point, and the people/owners are as nice as can be. Just ordered from there 5 min ago again, and will continue to order from them until I move away from the area. No other place can compare. And the other review posted was right. If you like Domino's or those chain pizza places, then don't order from here. Because it is totally different, but in an awesome way. You will be missing out!!! Well worth it, and couldn't ask for better. more

The best Pizza in North Pinellas! 11/7/2007

I moved to the area 3 years ago and had been looking for a decent pizza place. I heard about Big Jim's (actually called Rick's Pizza now) through a neighbor.\r \r I called in an order for pick up and it was fantastic! It's the real deal! If you like Domino's, then don't eat here! If it's a quality pizza, then this is for you! My girlfriend travels to New York monthy and she says it is as good or better than what she gets in NY.\r \r Fresh, all natural ingredients, I'm told. I'm biased, since I live close, but it is very good pizza. They also make their own sausage, lasagna, subs etc...\r \r 727-945-0491 or 727-934-5297 Pros: Great Pizza! Cons: No drink machine. They do have drinks. more
