We'd been looking off and on for a house to buy and ran into some other realtors that didn't seem to understand what we wanted.. Richters have an amazing amount of patience and their experience with property rehab's and management was very helpful because they can tell you what it costs to repair various things as you walk through a house that you are considering. I can't even remember how many houses we looked at but it was a lot! We are very happy with our home and when it comes time to sell it we will call them for sure. more

Very unprofessional. We viewed a home they were renting. We filled out an application with the guarantee we would have and answer by Monday. Monday they said Tuesday which would have been acceptable, however Tuesday they said maybe Thursday!!! Mind you we had to pay a 75 dollar credit/background check fee, which kept us from looking anywhere else until we received an answer from them which we were informed they had 3 interested parties. We then asked for their location so we could come pick up our check. Peggy became very rude, said we couldnt come get it she would put it in the mail AND HUNG UP ON US. This is NOT a professional way to treat your customers especially when it was you that hadnt made your decision in a timely manner stating that you may have a buyer for the home. You shouldnt have taken any monies until you were ready to rent it and to keep putting us off another day or two is not good business. Hanging up on someone and then not answering your phone is not a way to run a business, is very rude and unprofessional. Beware of this ""company""! more

The house was in great shape, they were communicative when we wanted to discuss some options and treated us very fairly with our deposit when we vacated. I would recommend them anytime! Pros: They were professional and helpful more

I rented a home from them. When I would call about repairs they would never call me back right away. But, if it was about rent they would call back right away. They would always say that the office phone rings their cell phones but, never in any case that I called. I have called on the weekend and when I complained that they never returned my call then they would say that they dont work on the weekends. I dont know any rental office that can provide great customer service and not return calls on the weekend. They were uncoropative when my husbands company wanted to relocate us. I let them know as soon as possiable so they could re rent the house and I let them know that I was going to be gone for three weeks and they could show the home as much as possiable during that time. After I was gone for two weeks I called them and they hadn't been showing the house, advertising it, or had a sign in the yard. After multipal attempts to obtain a letter stating the cost for us to break the lease, I finally gave up. They are terriable to work with and I would not reccomend anyone to rent a house from them. more
