We have been in business for over 30 years and rarely have a complaint. But you cant satisfy everyone. Im sory that you didnt listen to my recomendations and that another shop confirmed our findings. Rich's Route 50 is by far the worst place to go for any mechanical problem. Charged me 2100 dollars for nothing. The problem was still there and when I called to ask about other options they actually hung up on me! These guys are crooks! Luckily I filed a claim with my bank and they should be hearing from my lawyers very soon! Save yourself the hassle and deal with someone with integrity. more

Brought my car in to have a new motor put in and have the parts were not hooked up it pisses out oil and they said its not there problem wtf I just paid them 1200 for a new motor and this one is in bad condition DO NOT GO TO RICHES THEY SUCK AND THERE VERY RUDE!! more

Purchased a car from Rich's Automotive last month. Great car! Rich went out of his way to clean it up, make some final repairs and is was like new when I brought it home. Absolutely no complaints. 2ND TIME TRYING TO FIX THE PROBLEM THEY CREATED & RICH STILL OFFERS NO APOLOGIES!\r I take good care of my vehicle and I was looking for a mechanic who would do the same. I am new to the area and I was referred to Rich. The block heater on my truck needed replacing because the plug was shorting out. Here's what happened:\r 1. Rich did not remove the old malfunctioning heater, instead he just added a new one on the opposite side of the engine.\r 2. One week later the "low coolant" light came on. Rich fixed it at no charge. He called and said, "The truck is ready, you can pick it up. You're all set." He did not volunteer what the problem was. I had to ask what the problem was before he admitted it was a leaking seal on the new block heater. He DID NOT APOLOGIZE for his shoddy workmanship. \r 3. One week later, "low coolant" light AGAIN. Though I wrote a review of another auto repair place in town, and they are good, they are not nearly the place Rich's is in terms of personal service. Rich has been known to guess a problem, quote me a price and then get into the engine and find its something much less and admit he was wrong and not lie to make money!! I know that is what we expect but don't always get. He does inspections and sells gasoline. They are open 7 days a week, from 7 am until into the evening. I give this a perfect 5 stars! PROS: Good service CONS: none more
