I am a Single and Older Lady who has a Ford. I took my car to Ford even though Richland Autocare had found and fixed a problem Ford could not fix in 2013. They fixed THAT problem and then I had them do my Brakes. My Ford had both the Gas Cap light and check vehicle light on recently(2014)...I said to myself, ""Ahh-ohh..better take it to FORD which has all the diagnostic codes for my car! THEY recommended a new power steering unit that was close to 600 bucks! THEY charged me over 100 bucks for an authorized fuel cap, etc... I had some friends tear into it and found out it had no problem with that unit at all! I took it to Richland Autocare and they found and fixed the problem! My car is 13 years old and one of the fuel lines had rubbed against some ridged hoses and made the fuel system unpressurized due to the small holes rubbed through along those ridges. BRAVO For Richland Autocare! Boo...Ford...Though have to admit, I complained at Ford and they gave me $60 back! more

Brent has always done good work for me and my family. I read the complaints and have to laugh. Obviously the customers didn't understand the situations. Driving the car and looking for leaks is how you check. Brent having a 40% markup is generous. There isn't a company that sells product at cost. He has to keep his doors open.\r \r You can feel safe going to Richland Auto Care. They do the job right.\r \r I know they treat me and my family well. more

On 1-30-2009 Brent Gerry the owner stated to me by phone he marks up all parts by 40 percent. I asked 40 percent over dealership price? Brent replied yes. This means that by the owners statement that you the customer will be charged 40 percent above what you would pay at a car dealership. For example the dealership charges $79.99 including tax for an air intake hose on a 1993 Mazda protege. I was charged $125.00 w/o tax by Brent the owner of Richland Auto care. This price I was told included one day air charge. Furthermore when I was invited to come pick up my old part on Feb 2nd 2009 at 8am a civil disagreement took place over the price I had paid for the part. During the conversation The owner Brent stated ""I know where you work and that you guys have a high level clearance to work out on the Hanford site. Maybe I should contact your employer and let your boss know what's going on"". Can you imagine the owner of a business making such a statement to a paying customer over a civil disagreement on the price a customer paid for a part. I recommend never going to this business. Cons: Marks prices up 40 percent over dealer. more

My car was leaving some oil spots on my garage floor, so I decided to take it to Richland Auto Care so they could check for leaks. I dropped it off at night, and wrote down to change the oil and check for leaks. I knew it would be more than the local super lube, but wanted them to inspect it and make sure it wasn't leaking. They called to say it was ready, so I went to pick it up figuring it would be around $50. How about $144! They put some dye in the oil to see if it was leaking, it wasn't, so then they decided to drive my car around for awhile and charge me an extra $80. They NEVER called to clear this extra charge with me! They just charged me and it was too bad for me, I had to pay it. I am never going back there again. If for some reason you go there get a written estimate and make sure they stick to it, or they will stick it to you. more
