Richardson Public Library 3/29/2006

Clean and pleasant. A really good library. My husband has been in education in this area for years and we have used this library a lot over the years. The people that work there are great at working with students and helping them find the resources they need. Quite and a good place to relax also. more

Just big enough 9/22/2005

This library is big, but not too big. It has just about everything, but isn't too overwhelming. Teh library is very clean, the in general, the people are very quiet and courteous. Everythign is well laid out, so it is real easy to find whatever you need. The computers are easy to use, so you should be able to find whatever you want in a snap. Being a college student, I like this library because there are a lot of areas to study. In addition, there are small study rooms that you can use if you need an area for you and a group. This library is a great place to check out a book or get your study on. more

great library 8/21/2005

This library is ridiculously big, and holds every book that other libraries don't. It holds tons of children's books, adult biographies, non-fiction and fiction books, novels, and thousands of reference books whenever you need to do research for school or work. On each of the four floors, there are plenty of isolated desks for quiet reading and researching or taking notes. It's a tad far for some people living in Rowlett and Garland, but any public place is subject to that downside. more

If only all librarys could be this great! 8/17/2005

Richardson Public Library is the most amazing library I've ever seen. All 3 stories are packed full of wonderful books, paintings and other art and community information. If you can not find it here, you can not find it al all. The staff here bend over backwords to help you locate anything even if it means putting you on a waiting list. The movie section can at times be slim-pickings, but you can also be surprised with a great selection. They offer lapsit- a time to come with the kiddos and listen to stories and do simple art projects as well as reading programs and contests. This library has it all. Go look, you'll be glad you did! more

Great Library 8/1/2005

The Richardson Public Library is a really nice library. They are conveniently located and have convenient hours. I first went there because they have a really good selection of law books. I was in a Legal Research class, and the Richardson library had better hours than the school library. I was really impressed with the cleanliness of this public library. more
