Rettig Shoe Repair

Great service, from shoe repair to baseball glove repair. Very fair with pricing, friendly, journeyman leather worker. I have very limited knowledge about shoe repair or care, so whenever I buy a new pair of leather shoes I take them into Shoe Fixers (i should know the lady's name by now) to see if I got a good value and what I should expect for maintenance. To date, I feel they have always treated me fairly and gotten work done quickly. I stop the first hour they open and often times they do quick fixes/maintenance for me immediately. I'm particular about quality of work and customer service, have never felt the need to search for another shoe repair shop. more

Have had multiple shoes repaired as well as boots. Good work, good prices, turn around time ok. Convenient location for drop off while shopping. more

When you walk in the door, it tells the story. Located in the lower level of Valley West Mall, this store does not fit. There are unopened boxes and poorly merchandised product haphazardly placed around the small space. While the prices are reasonable, the owner was extremely slow working (1 week to replace a leather strap on my shoe). After I promptly returned a week later with my claim ticket, he could not find the shoe amongst the mess and said he'd been so busy he hadn't had a chance to repair it yet. He needed an additional 15 minutes to do the job. Hard to believe he couldn't carve out 15 minutes in the week I left the shoe with him. Additionally, I am a shoe buyer and the product he used to repair the shoe was extremely cheap PVC. My shoe now squeaks when I walk. I would not go back. more
