Resurrection Catholic Cemetery

We are no longer to use decoration at resurrection cementery. But they allow us to do this for over 20 years. With no notice eveyones decorations were removed and destroied! this was all done the day after Easter,thanks to our new derector Mr Bryan McMann. I can not belive that Catholic""s would do something so hurtful to the familys that trust them with our loved ones. this was wrong to remove from our graves what we have done to show our loved ones we have not forgot them and we will not forget this uncaring and terrible thing,no regard .I wish I could move my family from this place! more

Sept. 23, 2010 My family and Myself have been coming to this cemetery since 1984. At no time has anyone ever been rude, uncaring or burglaried. I can only speak for myself and my family. It's terrible that the other person felt the needed to respond so angrily. I live in Hawaii, and when time passes have had to contact the Cemetery for the grave side location. Never have I had a rude conversation with anyone there. We don't get to visit as often as we would like but when we do the grave site is always well Managed. Isn't this what we all want, to know our loved one even though we aren't there to know that their graveside is well taken care of? Burglaries happen no matter where you are. it happens so be responsible for your own belongings. Gee's thing's get stolen at Church's. You going to write bad about everything & everyplace you get something stolen from!!!! more

I personally find it sickening to actually rate a cemetery, but oh well. I felt compelled to write a positive comment when I saw these two negative ones. In all the years and many family burials, burglaries have never occurred nor interrogation when trying to obtain information for family burial locations.\r Overall in the 18+ years, I've been attending this cemetery my experience has been fine, never any problems.\r This cemetery is well kept, very clean and organized, staff is very helpful. 10/23/09 My family and I went to a funeral service at this cemetery and the granddaughters' purses, cell phones, and credit cards were stolen out of the cars parked 100 feet from where the burial was happening! When the security guard taking the report was asked if this occurs frequently, he hesitated and then said it happens EVERY TWO WEEKS! WTF?! This is a huge place with TWO security guards and no one indicated such crimes frequently occur on the premises. Two Mexican guys in track suits go through the row of cars to get into anything unlocked or with windows down; a women in a track suit is the look out. Watch your back! 10/23/09 Mi familia y yo fuimos a un servicio fúnebre en el cementerio y las nietas monederos, teléfonos celulares y tarjetas de crédito fueron robados de los coches aparcados 30 metros de donde estaba pasando el entierro! Cuando el guardia de seguridad teniendo el informe se preguntó si esto ocurre con frecuencia, dudó y luego dijo que ocurre cada dos semanas! WTF?! Este es un lugar enorme con dos guardias de seguridad y nadie se indica esos delitos ocurren con frecuencia en los locales. Dos mexicanos en ropa deportiva pasar por la fila de coches para entrar en algo o desbloqueado con las ventanas abajo, una mujer con un traje de pista es la mirada hacia fuera.
