As a repeat customer ( Restoration Woodworks replaced about 25 windows on my old house about 20 years ago, had a good experience, so thought I'd return to get the last 7 windows replaced), I thought I'd at least get some decent level of customer service. I thought wrong.\r
For starters, the guy who was supposed to come and give me an estimate didn't show for 2 consecutive appointments. I was so incensed that I asked the owner, Steven Stiebel (sp?) to come out, which he did. About a month ago. I have since repeatedly requested the estimate for replacing these windows. When I say ""repeatedly"", I mean no less than 3 times that I've spoken with Steve, each time only to be promised that he'd get to it immediately. Have I gotten an estimate? You can guess by the fact that I'm writing this review that I have not. By now, I could have hired someone else to do the estimate, order the windows and have scheduled the replacment. I have been greatly inconvenienced by this company's apparent contempt for customer satisfaction. I guess they get enough ""big jobs"" to not have to even try to keep the average homeowner happy. I will never attempt to hire them again, and I will tell everyone I know to avoid them at all costs. Unbelievable.
Pros: quality windows
Cons: customer service SUCKS!!
