Republic Windows and Doors

After I was referred by a friend, the people from Republic Windows & Doors came out, gave me and estimate, and were great. I talked to the manager John in person, which was good. The crews came on time and did a thorough, professional, good job. They cleaned afterwards, and I am very happy with the finished product. They replaced a total of 12 windows, two of which were sliding glass doors. I also told the guy in the front office that I'd be happy to talk to prospective customers if he gives me a call beforehand. more

I thought the price was fair, the windows were great, and the installation went smoothly. Republic Windows & Doors were very courteous and very responsive. Overall, I just think they did a great job. more

It was a good experience. The measuring just wasn't right twice, and there was a little delay on their part then no apology from the head boss. Sometimes, that's just what's needed. When you mess up, just say sorry yourself. Don't use employees to say it, especially when you did the measurements. Just be able to say you're sorry. Otherwise, everything was excellent. more

I think everything went smoothly. There was a little delay on the install date, but it was taken care of and apparently was due to the manufacturer making sure the product was good before the installation. Other than that, everything was fine. more

We ordered 12 windows and 2 patio doors. Their prices were competitive, in fact, for a better price, we received a higher-quality product than the other vendors offered. John was very knowledgeable and friendly. They really are a great company to work with. If I need more windows in the future, they will be the first company I call. more

We had Republic install 12 windows plus the largest picture frame window they could order and a sliding glass door a few years ago. The material is high quality, double pane, inert gas filled, well constructed product. Windows and doors all continue to slide without effort and locks are durable. The large window actually replaced a larger window that they unfortunately could not replicate due to internal stress. They built up the wall to fit the new window, stucco, and sealed. The job was completed as promised and on time. The crew was very professional and courteous. Everyone cleaned up after themselves and left the area as clean as they found it. The customer reps were friendly, low pressure, and as honest as I've seen sales people be. I highly recommend Republic for quality, service, integrity, and performance. more

We had Republic Windows & Doors replace all of the windows in our house, twenty windows total. They came to us on a recommendation from a friend, who really liked them and enjoyed working with them. Unfortunately, our experience wasn't as great as we'd hoped it would be. Overall, I think they did a great job with the installation and they were in and out in one day. The product is top quality and we are very happy with the final results. However, when they were removing the old windows to replace them with the new windows they tried to do a good job at cleaning up the broken glass. Even though they did a pretty good job with the cleanup, they didn't tell us they had broken a window in our bathroom, in the tub. Some glass was accidentally left behind in the bathtub. My young son ended up cutting his foot in the tub. Thankfully, he didn't need stitches, but he was definitely traumatized about taking a bath for the next week! He thought there were alligators in there! Not to mention that we were very upset about it too! Had I known that they had broken a window in the bathtub, I would have double checked for glass before letting my son take a bath in there. However, I think they are a good company and did a very good job. They are really nice and professional. Leaving the broken glass in the tub was just a mistake. They did a good job cleaning up the rest of the glass and even vacuumed up the dust. I would definitely recommend this company to anybody. more

I just had 7 windows put in on 5/16 and they are exceptional ! I had a great experiene with this company, beginning with the salesman Tim, to the final installers Salvador and Albert. The owner, John, even came out himself to do the measurements. During the installation, Albert and Salvador laid down blankets so as to protect the carpet and then cleaned up when they were done. I would recommend Republic to anyone who is looking to buy new windows. During the initial consult with Tim, he simply explained their product and answered my questions...no pressure sales tactics at all !! In fact within a few days of installation, they sent me Simonton rebate information that will save me $30 per window. I have already referred this company to friends and would not hesitate to use them in the future !!!! more

This was our first time using Republic Windows. They salesman was very professional, personable, well-dressed and honest. The installers showed up on time and were all very businesslike. They cleaned up after themselves when they were done. We thought the price was good and the workmanship is quality. We really love what they did for us. more

The best thing about working with Republic Windows was that they were willing to work with my income. Their prices were massively under anyone else's. After talking with them it became apparent that there was no beating them anywhere else. It was incredibly affordable to have every window in my mobile home replaced. Republic Windows not only gave me a great price, but they also showed me how to go about getting rebates to cut the cost even further. I was able to get two rebates, which totaled about $500. This really helped a lot. And I'm satisfied with the quality of the windows, as well. They are definitely cutting down on the heat coming into the house. I can actually open up the curtains and get the daylight without the heat getting in. Before, I would have to keep the air conditioning on all day, and even into the evening. Now, it actually shuts off from time to time, which is saving me money on my electricity bill. Republic Windows were very kind and willing to work with me. Any questions I had, they were right there to answer them. The installers allowed me to hang around and ask them questions as they were working, and didn't try to shoo me away. I had to put my cat in the kennel before Republic Windows came for the installation as I was concerned the cat would escape. It was just for my piece of mind, to be honest, as I figured the workers would be in and out and could leave doors and stuff open. As far as the work goes, they did a good job. I wasn't there to watch the whole thing, but they did call me when they were done, and everything was fine. There was just one minor little thing that I screwed up after they left. I didn't know the putty was wet, so I touched it and left a little crumple. I called them to see if they could come out and fix this little cosmetic thing, but I haven't heard back from them yet. S. I hired Republic Windows to install eight windows in my home. The people I dealt with were all really nice, and they have a great product. They first came out and measured for the replacements. Then, they gave me a price, taking the time to explain what they were charging for, and why. I was happy with the quote and the personnel, so I hired them. The installers I had were so good. They worked quickly and did a perfect job cleaning up afterwards. At one point they realized that they had measured one window incorrectly, and spared no time in procuring one that fit. I was completely happy with the work itself, but there was one issue that was never resolved. When I first got the quote, I told Republic that I wanted the bars on the windows removed. They told me that it was part of the quote, so when the installers never removed the bars, I asked about it. I was told that I wasn't, in fact, charged for the windows, which is why they weren't taken down. That was that, despite my understanding of the agreement. Though I was unhappy about this aspect of the job, everything else met my expectations. Even with this problem, I would still recommend them, because the work and the crew are fantastic. As long as you are willing to do the leg work, Republic is the perfect company for window replacements. more
