I talked to an extremely helpful lady at Repairclinic for a microwave bracket. We identified the part and I confirmed it on the computer after she gave me the item number and website address. \r She noticed from my address that I lived near the store and gave me the option of coming over to get it. I was happy to do so. I will keep their number and address and do business with them in the future. I'm not much of a do-it-yourself type, but things break, so it is good to know where to get the parts. more

If you are a do-it-yourselfer, RepairClinic is the place to go. The people at the counter are very helpful. The store is open on weekends and I've never run into an out-of-stock item. You can check the price and availability online. Their website is really easy to use and it has a super search feature... just have your model number and the part needed. It even helps you find the part by physical description if you're not sure. I've been repairing my own appliances for decades and I won't do business anywhere else. I drive 45 miles to go here and I pass a dozen other places on the way there. more

Repairclinic isn't a company I'll ever do business with again. They sent me an ice maker of over a hundred bucks. When I opened it to install, the directions had been damaged and there were parts missing. After holding forever to talk to a rude customer service lady she unapologetically told me to contact them via a web request form as there were no engineers available to assist me. After further discussion, she agreed that she'd send me the missing parts and that I should log an online request for help as she didn't have any instruction sheets she could send out. There was absolutely to commitment to quality or solving my problem, I got a sense she was late for something or at least didn?t like talking to customers. When I asked to return the incomplete and damaged product she pointed out that I was over my 30 day return policy and that she couldn?t help me. When I said I really didn?t want to ice maker anymore, she mockingly offered to cancel sending out the spare parts since I clearly didn?t want them.\r \r This is not a company I would associate with competence. The only silver lining for me is that with this kind of service, I?m sure they won?t be in business long. Pros: They'll probably go out of business soon do to their lack of customer service Cons: missing parts, illegible manuals, rude customer service reps, long hold times more
