Second hand furs, leathers and wedding gowns rub elbows with kitschy toys and novelties. Here are some of my favorite things that you'll find:
- Silly band-aids made to look like realistic lips, bacon strips, cats, scars, devils, etc.
- Keychain toys that similate 6 diferent rude noises
- Die-cast pink cadaillacs and vintage VW beetles
- About a dozen varieties of rubber duckies - in camoflage, with devil horns, in floral patterns etc.
- Wigs, glasses, costume type stuff.
- Metal lunchboxes with vintage images such as pin-up girls and the Beatles.
- A wide variety of greeting cards with silly, rude, ironic, or just funny images
- 8 different types of laminated maps of Manhattan (bus, subway, lower Manhattan etc.)
- Toiletries like miniature rubber duckies in glyceryn soap, and the Dirty Girl line.
- Glittery costume jewelry and hair clips
- Silly "action hero" dolls such as Moses, Jesus, and a male nurse...
It's pretty hard to sum up this store - drop in and play with the VAST variety of fun toys, oddities and vintage clothes. Even if you buy nothing, you'll have fun browsing.
