I am so sorry that UO Gal had a bad experience. It is hard to reconcile her review with the very positive experience that I had with Reliant Search. I was also referred to Reliant by a co-worker after I was laid off when my company moved our department overseas. I have an extensive background in management and really great references but I have moved around a bit. I met with the owner at Reliant and we spent a great deal of time getting to know one another. She was very upfront with me regarding the challenges that I faced and while others might not like the reality check, I definitely appreciated her perspective. Reliant found me a great job working with really awesome people. As I have gotten to know other managers within this company, I have discovered that having Reliant as my agent was the difference between getting this job and not getting it. Their reputation is so respected here that managers do not even think about hiring who she recommends, they just do it. They have told me that Reliant has a sixth sense about which employee was going to be successful with each particular company and their matches are always a win win situation. I encourage you to give Reliant Search a try regardless of the level of employment you are looking for. The company I work for now has Reliant folks at the Executive level, tech services, risk management, database management, customer services…etc. I have spoken with several of those people and I have never heard anything but positive feedback. I was referred to this two person office from a co-worker. All I can say is that my experience was very poor. As a licensed accounting professional I expected a certain level of follow-through and professionalism. I received neither. I think this office is geared towards A/P and A/R clerks for short term assignments. After wasting my time with the owner and her daughter I called one of the international recruiting firms and had interviews for two great companies the next week. I cannot recommend Reliant Search or would ever consider using them in my roll as a hiring manager. more
