Yes, they have everything one would need to go on an outdoor adventure. Prices are somewhat steep for the most part but people buy from them. Also, I'm not a fan of the fact they don't do phone customer service. I find that to be a pretty low point for them. I'll shop online for better service. more

Overall a good store. 9/28/2008

Good selection of products. They have a little bit of everything. Service is a weak point. I usually don't need assistance. I know what I want. I get it. The two times I needed some assistance (rock climbing rope and kayak) I could not get it. Easy solution: I bought both items someplace else. I don't complain. I just take my business elsewhere when needed. I've been to the flagship store in Seattle. Outdoor heaven! Better help there. more

If you are looking for anything camping, backpacking or cycling related - this is your store. I have never had a bad experience at REI. The service is the best around and the staff is very knowledgeable. Top notch! more

Good outdoor store, sometimes the service is poor 8/9/2005

The store has everything you may need for outdoor. The prices are a bit high. The customer service sometimes is poor. One time I asked advice for a kayak and the associate was very helpful and friendly. Other times I have talked to other people that said they were going to answer to my questions and simply disappeared leaving me waiting for them to come back. more
