Regent Street Salon

I haven't been to Regent Street in a month because of an experience I had with a "stylist" named Warren. Now that he has gone somewhere else, I will continue to frequent the salon. In previous years, I always had good experiences there. I don't appreciate someone working closely to me who smells of smoke, takes personal calls WHILE working on me and is slow at his job. Thanks for the GREAT cut this time and I'll be back! more

I have been going to Regent Street Salon for many years, and have always received excellent service. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and professional. How many other businesses do you know that have been around for nearly 30 years? Other retailers in Fair Oaks Village have come and go, but Trish and her salon have been a presence there for nearly three decades. This is because they offer good customer serivce, value for money, professionalism, and always the personal touch; such as running to get you coffee while you sit under the dryer, or fitting you in for an appointment early in the morning. more

Having gone to Trish for many years and very happy with her service I am disappointed to say that I dont appreciate being asked to write false reviews for her. I will continue to go to you trish because I like the work that you do but I refuse to participate in your personal vendetta's against former stylists. If you would like to know the truth it is very simply that you should refer the clients to their appropriate stylist and allow everyone to move on. I understand you are bitter, but, he was a good stylist and you told me on other occasions that you felt so. Now that he has moved on and everyone has been allowed to speak their peace let it be the end of it. I dont think any of the negative postings I have read would have been written had the clients been referred as they should have been. Anger and jelousy can be our own worst enemies. It would be better the next time I am in Trish for you to focus on the task at hand that I am paying you for which is my hair, instead of arm twisting me and everyone else in the room to write reviews for you. more

I have been going to Regent Street Salon for over 2 decades and I have to let you know, its the best hair salon around they offer a professional service, competitive prices and a relaxing and comfortable salon. All the stylists are up to date with the latest trends and the owner Trish has built a business she can be proud of, being available to work any hours, she did my wedding party at 6.00am Sunday morning and provided coffee she is great and i can recommend Regent street Salon to everyone !!! more

I don't usually write reviews but on this occassion I feel that someone has to counter the absolutely awful reviews that have been falsley put on this website by what appear to be two ex-employees. more

Both my wife and I have been going to Regent Street Salon for years and we both consider Trish as a personal friend. We both have been very pleased with the service at Regent Street, including special attention that the staff provided to my mother in her 90s. more

I also had a similar experience from this salon as one of the previous posters. I had been going to Warren along with my sister and when I called to book an appointment they refused to tell me where he had moved shops to and said they did'nt have his number. I let the english lady who owns the shop do my hair and she ruined it! Thanks to another poster I now have his number and I know where the guy is! He is helping me fix the job Trish did and i will eventually have my hair back to normal. The new shop is way nicer and much more intimate of an environment anyhow. Thanks for the heads up Carissa, I would never have found him without you! more

So this is going to be a long review so bare with me. I went to this salon about two months ago. He did an awesome job buut, while i was with him the owner of the salon came up to him while we were talking and she called him a queer because she thought he was talking about her i guess, but he was'nt he was talking to me! First of all I dont like having my private conversations listened in on while im talking with my hairdresser. Second of all I hate biggots even more than being listened in on. But, Warren did an awesome job on my hair and I have never looked better, so I decided to go back. But, when I called the salon the girl who answered said that Warren did'nt work there anymore. "wow big surprise" I asked her where he went to and if I could have his number and she said she did'nt know but that she could refer me to the owner of the salon....I was like are you kidding! But, instead I just politely said no thank you. I called a few salons in the area and and asked if they knew where he went and started to get a story about Regent street that I feel compelled to share here. First of all, The most incredible part of this story is that Warren was going to open a new salon in Fair oaks with a business partner a girl he had worked with at Regent street and then at the last minute he found out she was unlicensed to do hair. I guess her name is Sally Dilorenzo and she has worked for Regent street for 30 years. A nice lady at skin deep another salon was able to tell me the whole story about these crazy women at regent street. And she finally was able to find his number for me. He has moved locations and he is just as awesome as the last time less the distraction of the owner at Regent street. I feel sorry for the other people who work at regent street and I dont know what they are like but I find it concerning that they would choose to work for a company that allows unlicensed people to practice hair along side them. I just dont feel comfortable going to a place where the people are biggoted and unethical. If you made it to the end of this long post just know that you can get ahold of Warren at 916-838-4393. Not many salons will take appointments on a Sunday but that was the only day I had off from work. I called Warren to book an appointment after reading all of the reviews and he was willing to come in just for me. After I explained I had gone through several hairdressers since moving to the area and that the last one had butchered my hair too short and it took me several months for it to grow out he began to make suggestions about how best to achieve the look I was after. He talked about my face shape eye color and the products I was using. He explained how he would be cutting my hair and what products he would be using and why. He made a suggestion about my haircolor and gave an awesome shampoo! I only got a haircut this time but im already scheduled for the color. This is the first review I have ever come back and written after getting the reccomendation online. But this guy is the real deal so I had to come back here and comment. more

There is not much more that can be said this place is awesome! Ask for Warren or Sally! they are like the best there. I have tried them both and they are awesome! Their prices are similar and they both do an awesome job. they were both alot of fun. Warren is very knowledgable and Sally is a blast. Both of them speacialize in color and cutting but Warren does the facial waxing. Sally will remind you of your best friend. Honestly you cant go wrong. I once colored my own hair red and Warren helped me go back to blonde. If you have ever been through that transition you know how miserable it can be. I also love the hours. He's not a snob like some of the salons out there. This is a family style salon with a high end hairdresser. If I want in and out I will go to a fast food joint. By the way, when the restaurants open next door order some food while you process the food is fresh and amazing. Saw an ad for Warren and gave him a try. Now I just wont go to anyone else. By the way he does facial waxing as well and I'm picky about who does my brows. I have been going to him for many months now and he has consistently exceeded all my expectations. I get in to see him when I need to and that is important to a busy girl! I really feel like he makes me a priority and he is more than a stylist he is becoming a friend. Pros: I felt like I was a priority Cons: none more

I had my Nails done there once. They seem very nice and clean. They did a good job, and charge a reasonable price. Got a french manicure with silk nails to extend my natural once. They suggested a silk wrap instead of acrylic. I loved it. more

Have you ever heard of an air perm? I have'nt been able to find a salon that gives one and this one does. I also went to the guy who works here. And I am very happy with my perm. Most people dont even get perms anymore but I have the straightest hair in the world. I wanted curl but not frizz and he gave me just what I wanted. He suggested alternating the perm rod size to make it look more natural and I am glad he did. I used to go to another salon but their prices are just not what I can afford anymore. I wish I found this place sooner. Pros: I really appreciated the fact that he did'nt just do what I asked but gave a suggestion Cons: A little out of the way more

I saw a review for this salon on city search and decided to give them a try because I am new to the area and I dont know anyone local to ask. I am so happy I did! This salon is located in the cutest little village and there are chickens running wild everywhere. I was amazed at how busy this salon was even though there are several small salons in this little area. The receptionist reccomended I go to Warren and said that I would love my hair. She told me he has alot of experience with my hair type and I dont doubt that because I have difficult hair and it looks fabulous. The last place I lived it took me forever to find a stylist that could cut my hair the way I liked I cant believe how easy it was this time. where I used to live it cost me over 150.00 to get my cut and color and this guy charged me 75.00 for both. Plus he does evening and weekend appointments and my last stylist was soo hard to get in to see. These girls really know there stuff. The atmosphere is extremely friendly and your made to feel right at home. You need to book ahead to get an appointment but it is well worth it. These girls have clientele all day long everyday so I know I am not the only person who thinks this place is great. Pros: Some of the nicest work I have ever had done.
