My fiance, mother, and I were trying to attend a movie at the Pallidum Theater in High Point when Steve Sherwood told me to not bring in my cup of coffee inside the theater, I said fine put my cup on the ground near is his feet and he instantly said I need to leave and that I was banned from the theather. I walked over to the counter to get a soda and he furthered the matter and said that if I didn't leave he was calling the cops. So I said fine call them and I left. On my way out I told him how I felt about his customer service skills and he then banned my mother and fiance as I left. I am a soldier in the military and I have never been treated so horrific over a 50 cent cup of coffee. I will never set foot at that movie theater until they remove Steve Sherwood from his position. His lack of customer service skills really need attention from his upper managment. more

This is my local theater closest to Work. I have gone here many times no issues.\r \r A note to the post above, if you use a Cedit or Debit card at this theater, for some reason the Card Company, NOT THE THEATER, places a hold for double the amount of the ticket(s). I noticed this once and gave them a call. The manager explained what was going on and I checked it when it finally posted and it was for the correct amount. \r \r P.S. > Your ticket stub and a copy of the bank statement (after the charge has completed, usually 3-4 biz days) will work instead of a receipt. more

They ask you if you want a receipt with any debit purchases. I said no and found out the next day on my e-statement that they charged me for an extra ticket. I called to dispute the purchase. I was told without a receipt they would do nothing. I explained that the practice needed to be changed if people were just going to steal money. And I was hung up on! more
