Reedville Cafe

I can't decide whether I like it here or not. I've had one or two not so good dishes there, but overall the food is pretty good. Breakfasts, which I don't like much anyway, aren't that impressive here at all, and you can't order a sandwich instead, which is slightly annoying, but understandable. The decor is good and the place is clean, but more than once now, we've been seated (a party of 4 or more adults and one sleeping baby) in a large corral-type room filled with yelling kids. Just a little annoying, maybe enough to counter the oft-tasty food. more

Straight to the point, I did not care for this place. Sure, it's charming. I think it's been around for a very long time. The restaurant is cute and quaint and the deck out back is adorable. If quaint atmosphere is what you are after, this is a good place to go. However, the food was not so appealing. Maybe it's because I went on a hot summer's day but the potato salad they served me tasted like mush. The sandwich was dry and the ice in my coke had melted long before it made it to my table. My husband's cheeseburger was less than extraordinary. In fact it was so 'ordinary' he did not remember eating it 30 minutes after we left. Again, maybe it was just a bad day for the staff. Perhaps they had a few people on vacation or perhaps we caught them in between cooks. I like to make allowances for things like that. If I had to recommend this place to a friend, however, I would say to spend the money on something else. more

This is a very comfortable spot with indoor and outdoor dining, good food and always friendly service. They offer great different homemade desserts daily with a great cup of coffee. I would recommend this as a place to meet a friend for lunch and hang out awhile, or even a casual business lunch. Good salads and burgers too. more
