Reed's Transmission Svc

I took my 2007 Chevrolet truck into Reed's after having it "fixed" several times at a repair shop in London. It has never worked better. They quoted me a price and it was ready to pick up in two days even faster than what they said. Very polite service. Will definitely do business again with them. more

I took my Dodge 3500 pickup into Reed's after having the dealer tell me it needed a new transmission at a cost of over $4000. They told me a price to rebuild at a much lower cost than the dealer. They called me the day after I dropped it off to say they had it fixed for a cost of $275.00. It just needed a sensor installed. It is still working great after 6 months. I was thrilled will definately recommend them again! more

I took my car in to have to transmission fixed. They called saying they found a transmission, gave me a price and everything for it. I called about 4 days later to see when they would have my car finished and they told me that they couldnt get that transmission for it. So, they told me that they were going to try to find a new one. So I said thats fine. I called them about a week latter seeing if they found another one and come to find out, nothing. They had my car for over 2 weeks at this point. I called and asked them if I could come pick it up because they have had it for over 2 weeks and were doing NOTHING to it. When I called and told them I was taking it somewhere else, they didnt acked like they cared at all that they were losing my business. I went down there to pick it up and they were just really rude to me. When I went to my car there was oil all in it and they car wouldnt start at all. I WOULD NEVER TAKE MY CAR THERE EVER AGAIN AND I DONT RECOMMEND TO ANY!!!! more

I took my vehicle to Reed's Transmission and they seemed very knowledgeable. However, after being assured my vehicle would be ready in about 7 days, I was able to retrieve it almost 4 weeks later. Very rarely was I able to reach someone that could help me on the phone, as the manager was always "out on a test drive". \r I then found that my four-wheel drive no longer worked and the truck still did not shift properly. I took the vehicle back, as they state that they are on warranty, but they said it wasn't their fault...after asking around I found that their reputation isn't as good as I thought.....I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this business! more

Reeds Transmission has rebuilt several transmissions for us. They are reasonably priced and honest about what needs to be done. The only problem is access to their business off the highway and a minimal amount of parking. more

I had my 1998 Ford Tauras towed in to Reed's Transmission to be rebuilt. They quoted me a price and I was so surprised that it was the same price when I came to pick it up. They were super friendly, affordable, and efficient. My car worked great, I would definately recommend them. more
