I've been going to see Redmond Hair & Nails salon for about 3 years now. The haircut only $12, but love to do the men's package $25 included with haircut, mini facial, scalp massage, shoulder massage and shampoo. So relaxing and great haircut, compare that to another salons way too..too cheap. more

This is the worst place. The lady lied about what product she used to straighten my hair. I asked her if she used a product called Liso to straighten hair and she said yes. But in the middle of my appt, I realized that she might be using a different product, so I asked her. She knotted her head yes but then told me she tried a different one on my hair. She totally lied to me! How can someone lie to you like that! Especially when I told her that Liso is the only product I?ved used and trust! She also did not use foils while straightening my hair. I even told her my head felt like it was burning caz she was putting the chemicals directly in my scalp...I mean putting tons of it on directly on my scalp. But she said if you want them straight this is how we do it. I?ve gotten my hair straighten before but this time it felt different. Usually my hair looks and feels soft and shiny but NOT this time. The top of my hair where she put tons of the chemicals feel rough and course and my hair over all look dry. She basically burned front part of my hair!!! I think this lady is one of the owners and I can?t believe they took my money (a few hundred dollars) and ruined my hair! Thesw people need their license taken away! (oh I forget to mention the towels they used on my hair smelled). NEVER AGAIN! more

THE WORST PLACE AND WORST SERVICE!!!!!Unfortunately today is Easter and i wasn't able to find anything else open... The ""salon"" is dirty and gross....The service is non-existent....Never seen a person using a cell phone while making my nails... Say truth when i came in.. i've realized what i did huge mistake to walk in.... Anyway NEVER AGAIN!!!!It's my advise! more

I was angry when I walked out of the place, never experienced anything like this before, how could this store use someone who does not even have enough knowledge of clipper to cut customer's hair (and charging for $15 per cut)? I felt the pain when the barber used the edge of clipper to trim my hair, I had to tell the barber that she was pressing the blade to close to my skin. And it tooks her so long to cut my hair that while she's cutting, another baber who sat next to me has finished two women's haircut. I was shocked and could not believe this. I absolutely will not go there again unless they change the way how they treat their customers. more

I have been getting my nails and hair done at this salon for quite awhile. I have always found the staff to be very skilled, courteous and professional. I usually make an appointment as they offer a great deal with 10% discount for appointments. I make sure that I am on time for my appointments, but on rare occasion I have had to wait a bit when I was late. They have never kept me waiting otherwise. My nails and hair get a lot of compliments in my work with the public, and I have recommended the salon to many colleagues. I have found that if one is clear in one's expectations, then one will likely have those expectations met. I am surprised at the negative reviews on this webpage and wanted to write to let everyone know that one complainer is probably that one in several hundred customers. I had an strange awful expericne in the shop today. I go there all the time. I called around 4 today 21st april 2010 to make an appointment with the person Queen/Queenie. I said I will be there between 5 to 5:15. When I reached there by that time I saw they put the appointment for me at 5 and she went inside with another client. And every time I asked them how long it might take they say she should be nearly finished and be out in 5 to 10 mins. well that turns out to be 50 mins. All I said to them if you are busy I rather have you not make the appointment for me. I kept my 3 yrs old dauther bz wiht junk food coke, candy. went to next door shop. At end when finally she came out she looked veyr upset! And kept on telling me you have to give me easy relax time I am stressed out already all day long. I can not concentrate on your eyebrow. ""if you want to do it "" you have to give me time !!!! Here I am 7 mos pregnant, came from all day work, with a 3 yrs old trying to keep her bz waited for almost 1 hour I was shocked, Look who is stressed !!! But I said I will go ahead and do it with you since I waited for so long she kep ton asking me are you sure you want to do it ? huh? I came to do it there.. and went through too much for it already as if saying No would have pleased her after 1 hr wait. Then suddenly my daughter fell off on the ground and started crying.. I decided that is it.... I rather not have the eye brow wax and get out of this store as soon as I can. In any store in this situation would have given me discount or free servcie there I had to hear how I put stress on her by asking how long it might take few times...where every time in 5 / 10 minsshe will be done...Funnily she is the manager and this is the way this customer situation was handled. So after 1 hour wait pregnant me left the store with a crying and hurt baby with no eyebrow done.... Pros: one stop shop Cons: extremely unprofessional/ awfulcustomer service more

I took my niece out to get a full set nail job and a haircut January 13th, 2010. My sister got a manicure as well. My niece's full set was uneven; not pretty at all. The man who cut her hair messed up and the owner had to re-do it. My niece commented that he did not seem like he knew what he was doing and the ladies seemed to have a hard time understanding English. My sister complained that her manicure was slow and painful. I went back and told the owner how dissatisfied they were with the service and she became extreemly defensive. Overall, a very bad experience. Even a full refund would not make up for it. I went here thinking it would take 15 min for the eyebrow wax. I was in there 30min-45min! The person I got seemed like he had worked there for a while and I even asked him if he had experience.
