Dave has absolutely restored my faith in service people! He showed up on time, was extremely pleasant and congenial and walked me through the process of fixing my garbage disposal. He also showed me how to fix it myself in the future, which I thought was extremely gracious. He obviously could have kept his mouth shut so as to hopefully secure more business down the road, but he didn't. Just an absolutely perfect experience. This is my permanent plumber! Im a person who likes to do my own repairs and improvements. I've developed a healthy weariness in seeking out plumbers, particularly when in dire need. \r I generally only seek out contractors when I absolutely need them - this was one of those situations.\r Our kitchen and laundry drain in our small home had clogged, causing an abrupt end to cooking and cleaning. Armed with 2 different 25' drill-snakes \r I spent all Thursday night trying to clear the line. It wasn't working and I dreaded the idea of trying to find someone on a Friday - the last day before the weekend (and higher rates). \r Armed with plenty of experience- both good and bad- I did some research and found Red Roo with some genuinely good reviews. I called up Dave first thing Friday morning and he found a way to make it over - even moving some other appointments around to make it happen.\r Since I had to work, my wife was going to have and deal with whatever might pop-up. Thankfully, I made a good choice in choosing him, because my wife reported that he was very clean- taking off his shoes voluntarily, explained what the problem was, quickly dealt with it, and was generally very nice and friendly.\r If you are reading this it might be because you are in a similar situation-\r Obviously, I can't guarantee that you'll have the same good experience with Red Roo as I did, but I'd be surprised if you didn't. \r Pros: Friendly and reasonable Cons: not free more

Dave took care of a leak under our kitchen sink very thoroughly and quickly, explaining why he was replacing certain parts, etc. Then he followed us to a little house we are selling and fixed the bathroom sink there, doing more than the minimum to make it just right. He really understands plumbing, comes prepared with parts, is very professional yet very down to earth and personable. His rates are excellent as well. When we need to call a plumber again it will most certainly be Dave of Red Roo! Pros: Knows his stuff, expedient, thorough, very kind, fair price! more

Good plumbing. (3rd generation plumber.) Good guy. Good prices. Terrific service with an Australian accent. (The ""roo"" in Red Roo Plumbing is Australian for kangaroo.) Just ask for Dave. I would highly recommend Dave at Red Roo. A very personable guy who's up front with what to expect. He was able to fit me into his schedule quickly and told me how much I could expect to pay and how quickly the work could be done. It's hard to find a plumber out of the blue who you can trust and I lucked out with Dave. \r I would definitely use him again. more

Finding a plumber is a bit nerve-wracking--there are always a bunch of bad stories and very few recommendations. I was so pleased to find Red Roo Plumbing. I would highly recommend Dave for his knowledge, good work and speedy service. He made time for us on an already full day, came out and had the problem fixed in no time. His fee was fair and he was extraordinarily knowledgeable about water catchment and harvesting systems. We felt very fortunate to have found such a great plumber. more
