I have been having difficulties resolving billing and insurance issues with Red River Family Practice. I just spent most of the afternoon on the phone with Medicare and my supplemental insurance carrier only to learn that the billing problems are the result of RRFP failing to re-submit correct billing information to both parties. This set of problems has been going on for several months. RRFP indicated repeatedly that they would submit corrected billing to Medicare. They failed to do so. Now the office manager at RRFP speaks to me as if I am some kind of criminal and gives me a very hard time about scheduling an appointment with my doctor in spite of the fact that Medicare and my supplemental carrier have honored more recent and correctly billed office visits with payment in full. This woman must be aware that I have the right coverages, but she seems reluctant to do the things from her end that might resolve the problem. I have no complaints about the medical care I receive at RRFP, but I do have major issues with this office manager and others responsible for dealing with billing and insurance issues. Unfortunately I am afraid that this problem will spill over into my relationship with my doctor which would be very sad indeed. I have been a patient at RRFP for a number of years. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 11/3/2012

I went to get my annual physical check-up at Red River Family Practice on 9/24/12. I am on Bluecross Blueshield health insurance, which pays 100% for preventative care, and a physical once per plan year. RRFP mistakenly billed my visit as a regular doctor's visit, which resulted\r in my getting a bill after the insurance claim. I called RRFP; they admitted their error, and promised to straighten it out and remove the charge.\r \r However, I believe what they did instead was bill the\r insurance company again, in effect double-billing them for the same visit, and BXBS refused to pay them again. This resulted in my getting another bill from RRFP. I called them again, explaining to them their mistake again, and even called BXBS myself and had them call RRFP to\r sort this mess out. Both RRFP and BXBS reassured me then the mistake has been corrected.\r \r Today I received another bill from RRFP, for the\r same visit. Apparently RRFP repeated their mistake once more. It would seem, due to the laziness, indifference, and/or incompetence of their billing department, that this would go on indefinitely, until a third party such as BBB intervened and *MADE* RRFP take *SPECIAL* note of,\r and pay *SPECIAL* attention to the situation, and threaten further disciplinary actions, in order to cut through RRFP's incredible bureaucratic red-tape. Their laziness, indifference, incompetence, and unwillingness to follow up on and truly resolve *THEIR OWN* problem\r and mistake, have made this into a frustrating, appalling and antagonistic situation. It amounts to harassment. I wish their administrators were half as good as their doctors.\r \r In fact, from reviews here, I would say that's pretty much the common sentiment. I am actually considering switching to a different practice simply due to their appalling administration. This is quite *SAD*, really, considering the doctors are quite good. I will speak w/ my doctor there personally about getting rid of whoever their administrator/s is/are that's running their business into the ground. SAD SAD SAD. more

Worked with Dr. Lambeth during diagnosis of what turned out to be aggressive breast cancer, and found the entire staff incredibly helpful. They always responded to our phone calls, helped us find the resources we needed for treatment and healing, including financial education and assistance. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone needing this sort of support and guidance. more

The search is over when you are a patient of Dr. Lambeth's 3/5/2010

I am a nurse. I met Dr. Lambeth while working with him. I saw the care and concern he provided to his patients. He takes the time to listen and discusses his plan of care with you. He is my personal doctor. You will not have to look any futher for a more caring MD than Dr. Lambeth. Pros: Great Family Practice more

Great Practice! 10/10/2009

I've been seeing Dr. Bartz for 12 years now. Due to scheduling, I've also been seen by every other doctor in the practice at one time or another and was pleased with them all. I highly recommend this office as they are good customer service providers and great healers. Pros: ALL the doctors and staff are good more

GREAT DOCTOR!!! 3/20/2008

Dr.Lambeth was one of the best Doctors I have gone to. I was in a serious accident and saw a previous Doctor before him who did absolutely nothing for me except give me some stupid medication that did not work. It was Vicoden 5mg. After totalling my car and hitting four cement walls, obviously this was not going to work. I had to make another appointment because the pain wasnt going away...and it was Dr. Lambeth whom I was scheduled with next. Dr.Lambeth was a blessing. Not only did he give me something strong enough, but he showed that he actually cared. I thank Dr.Lambeth...and i recommend him to the fullest!!! Pros: great receptionist...she even noticed when i lost weight! Cons: not ALL the doctors in the practice are great. Dr. Lambeth is the BEST choice. more
