Red Line Tattoos & Body

I was referred to Red Line by multiple friends who have had work done by Dan. (All which is stunning!) When I showed up to Redline for my appointment Dan was very welcoming and friendly. I was shown what was drawn up for me (Getting a Yoda Tattoo) and then Dan's artistic nature came into play and started giving me ideas on what we could do to make it look even more amazing. The finished drawing was ridiculously amazing & detailed. The tattoo took about 3.5 - 4 hours to do, about 2 hours into the tattoo I started getting really hot and needed a break. Dan was very cool and got me some water and made sure I was ok. Put the fan on me so I could cool down. I felt very taken care of. When my work was done I was stunned. Yoda looked so realistic. Epic! Best tattoo I've had in my entire life and I have 10. I will NEVER get work done anywhere else. The price was great, the work was amazing and Dan is the best. If you end up going somewhere else for your work after reading this your crazy! more

if you are looking for a shop that is comfortable,reasonable, and does fantastic work then redline is your place to get inked. It took three sessions to complete. The outline i was in shock..the shade work, i was in awe... and the color..... well, lets just say DAN IS A GENIUS!! My tatoo is awesome and i am always showing it off. I have recently renewed interest in getting more tattoos and have always remembered my experience at Redline. Dan and Dan were awesome and made me feel extremely comfortable 5 years ago for my first tattoo. The customer service at Redline is above any I've received from any tattoo or body piercing establishment. Dan (the artist & body piercer) is great! He has a very approachable, friendly personality which makes it easy to become comfortable with him. Dan has been able to take my ideas & a few examples of what I like & use them to create beautiful art for my body. Not only does Dan communicate effectively to make sure your tattoo is going to be exactly what you want, he has unlimited talent. Dan has many albums with a variety of designs & styles. He was very detailed in explaining what the procedure would include, how to expect my body to react, & appropriate care. Dan (the assistant) is incredibly helpful in all aspects of the shop. Dan is very friendly & can answer a variety of your questions. If you have an idea but you don't have a picture or specific details of what you're looking for, Dan is very willing & seems to really enjoy the search for what it is you're looking for. Dan helped me to choose the perfect flowers & humming birds. He was also wonderful in helping me understand what designs could be combined to create what is now an amazing back/shoulder piece. Both are great to work with. This is an honest establishment that encourages individuality & open communication of ideas. They take ideas & put them on paper to bring your tattoo closer to reality. If what has been designed is not exactly what you're looking for, it's not going to offend Dan. You can take what you like & describe what you'd like modified. This artist is dedicated to creating your art your way. The business is extremely clean. Dan has explained the sterilization process used by Redline & requirements of all employees in detail. This is a business. You can expect all members of the Redline team to be extremely clean, safe, properly trained with adequate knowledge of the service they are providing, and ready to assist with any interest or concerns you may have. There is a lobby, art room, a room for piercings, & a room for tattoos. If requested, privacy is available. My favorite thing about Redline is the easy going atmosphere. Redline is in the last cultural Oasis in Fresno; the Tower District. Dan Has done my Work since 2003. Although I have moved to Philadelphia, everytime I come back to Fresno for a visit I make sure to stop by...my work is sick! Don't Bother wanting a cheap and quick tattoo off of Blackstone...If we all wanted Bunny's and Disney characters on our asses, then fine.. but the difference with here Is you build a concept and a design; Dans like an Architect. Clean and sterile place so much that I feel like I'm at the dentist. Had a Scooby Doo on my arm and he Created it Into a Pirate wench with a sword and an Bell Barreled Pistol and the shading is sick! I love redline tattoo. Dan and Dan are great. The shop is CLEAN and set up nicely. I felt comfortable getting my tattoo done there. Dan drew up an awesome peacock tattoo for me and was patient enough to wait one year to finish it. The shop gives you great information on how to take care of your tattoo,which other shops dont always do. I already have other tattoos, but this was my first time at Red Line Tattoos.. With that said, I will never go anywhere else again. Dan is a magnificent artist. I got my third tattoo at redline tattoo, and by far they are the most professional and willing to work with you. Redline was recommended to me by my brother's friend who has had work done there. I will highly recommend redline tattoo to anyone and I plan on going back for future tattoos. Dan and Dan were bith very professional and helpful in my tattoo experience. I couldn't be happier with my experience at Red Line Tattoo! What a clean and professional establishment! I got a tattoo yesterday at Red Line and love it! It's very colorful and perfectly detailed. Dan the artist is amazing. My son actually found this place a few years ago and I went with him to get his first tattoo. He was very happy with his results as well. A year later he went right back to get a 2nd tattoo. So, when it came time for me to get the tattoo, I didn't even consider going anywhere else. The shop is very clean and the staff was professional. From the minute I walked in Dan and Dan treated me with patience and courtesy. They made me feel very comfortable while helping me put together a custom tattoo. I never felt rushed (even though it took a while for me to choose what I wanted) because they obviously cared about getting exactly what I wanted. They made me feel very at ease. I looked through most of the samples and often got caught up looking at how beautiful ALL of Dan's tattoos and drawings are. He is truly an artist. Both Dan's made helpful suggestions and LISTENED to me so I got exactly what I wanted.\r \r I went in the next day to get the tattoo done. I felt totally comfortable and safe because the shop is so clean and well kept. The tattoo came out beautifully and hurt a lot less than I expected! The colors are amazing and the lines are perfectly detailed. I would definitely recommend the Red Line because not only does it have a great atmosphere, but because Dan and Dan were just wonderful to work with. Ive gotten four tattoos at redline now and each one has been a great experience. The two Dan's that run the shop are extremely helpful when making your tattoo decesion. Each one is extremely informed of the art, as well as, proper technique and after care for the work. I recently had Dan customize two tattoos to be placed on my right and left arm. I am extrememly happy with the results of the work. The color and shading are perfect. The shop is extrememly professional. The surrounding is very clean which provides a comfortable atmosphere. The two Dan's are very helpful making sure to advise each customer with their professional opinion. Each experience has been a great one at redline. It has been 21 years since my last tattoo a little devil on my right wrist. oops! Now at the age of 42 I was ready to get the tattoo I've always wanted, A SF 49ers tattoo. I found the design I wanted. Now I had to find an artist to make it all happen. Since my tattoo had a face on it I wanted a artist that is good with detail. I looked at some tattoo shops art work but nothing really caught me eye until I walked into Redline. The Dans are two of the coolest guys you can ever meet. Dan Bernard the tattoo artist has over 23 years of experience. Also the shop was very clean. The other Dan works at the front desk and also dose body piercing, and art work and I'm sure a lot more. I showed them what I wanted and I was told how much it would cost, I liked the price. \r We then made an apointment that fit MY schedule. I had a few little changes I wanted to make before my appointment. when I called about the changes I was given NO aditude and Dan was very helpful and into it as much as I was. On the day of my tattoo I was a little nervese, I got to the shop a little early Dan the artist was about to eat his lunch but instead of going to another room he ate his lunch with me and we bullshited like two old buddys. When he was done they where already set up for me.\r Dan took one look at me and knew what music to play. For 2 1/2 hours we talked about good times and our love for kick BUTT rock and roll. Before I knew it he was done. I almost did not wanted to end. But when I saw the work he did I could not wait to leave the shop so I can show the world the master piece on my arm. If you are going to get some ink you HAVE to go to Redline and see for yourself. My 49er tattoo will be in Dans book after 9/15/07 after it is all healed. I had a tattoo of a small castle about 15 yrs ago on my back and i had never really finished my theme and i wanted to finish what i had started, but i would only settle for a clean and professional shop, so i checked around and looked at differant shops, for the cleanest exc. i had noticed a friends tattoo and was really impressed by the detail, so i asked him were he had gotten it, and he told me ""Redline Tattoos"", so i went to go look and noticed how clean his working area was and his whole shop in general, and also Dans 20 + yrs experience was a plus, i wasnt sure what i wanted, but explained to Dan, what i was kind of after, he went over alot of differant patterns and designs that he had there, until i found the one i wanted, i made the appointment and within the two weeks i was ready, you couldnt have ask for a better atmosphere, Dan had his fan / air conditioning on for me, and had the perfect music playing! the whole thing was a great experiance and i couldnt have asked for a better atmosphere, my wizard came out perfect and is a start from the theme im after and will only go back to Dan for my start of all my tattoos to come, i highly recommand Dan and his staff for any Tattoos or piercings, this is your body so you only want to trust someone that does it right the first time, and i will only go to Redline Tattoos for all my tattoo needs. i went into redline and asked about pricing and scheduled an appointment for a couple weeks out. i was impressed with the fact that the shop is cleaner than any i've seen in fresno, and the artist (dan, i believe) was helpful and patient with me. i wasn't certain HOW i wanted everything to look, just that i wanted it, and he's been great about drawing everything up and giving me ideas on where i could go with it, etc. once i actually have the work done, i'll let you know more, but everything about this place seems really great, from the guys working there to the work i saw in his books. save yourself from possibly getting some nasty disease from an unclean place and check this place out. i guarantee you'll be as happy as i've been with them, if not more so! I got a sacred heart tattoo from Dan at Redline about five months ago. Not only was I impressed by how clean the shop was and how well informed and helpful the staff was, I still can't believe how clean the lines are or how great the color is on my tattoo, not to mention how there was almost NO scabbing in the healing. Having spent most of my life residing in Los Angeles, I had taken the Quality of tattooing found there for granted. It has come to be my experience that most shops in Los Angeles do high quality work. In fact I didn't think anything of it until after I found myself relocated to Fresno. That is when I went into ""tattoo culture shock"".\r \r I lived in Fresno for about a year when I decided it was time for my next tattoo. I had known from my previous experiences that finding a good tattoo artist required some research. I started by going to 8 shops in the area whose names I will not mention, only to find that most didn't have the quality of work that I was expecting. More often then not I was treated as if I should not be questioning the quality of their work. After visiting several local shops , Redline was the obvious choice to perform my tattoo. \r \r I have to say I wasn't expecting much when I arrived as the shop is located upstairs behind a mexican restaurant and out of plain view from the street. However the inside of the Shop was Clean and covered with flash in 2 rooms. I made my way to the artists photo albums. I was impressed that most of the work even better than the work I had seen in Los Angeles. \r \r Dan helped to take an idea I had and he turned it into a custom design. They were able to break my tattoo up into multiple small sessions to fit into my schedule. I am very satisfied with my tattoo and my experiences at Redline. I would Highly recommend Redline Tattoo to anyone interested in a high quality and or unique, tattoo. They have a huge selection of Patterns to choose from. The staff was friendly and professional.
