Ruined my shirt 3/14/2007

I took a $60 dress shirt with wine stains to the Berkeley location. The stains came out, but the shirt came back with a burn mark, a new stain on the sleeve, and a thread pull across the front of the shirt. It's unwearable now. George, who owns all 5 Red Hanger Kleaners locations, claimed that the thread pull was a manufacturer's defect and refused to reimburse me for the shirt. A manufacturer's defect?!? Are you kidding me?!? Avoid this business. They are lousy and refuse to accept responsibility for damage. Pros: Original stain came out Cons: Shirt was ruined, miserable customer service more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! 10/19/2006

This dry cleaner ruined a brand new $100 dress shirt, and then worst of all, refused to take any responsibility to try to fix it or reimburse me for the loss. Since then, I have heard many other stories from people who have had problems with this dry cleaner!! Cons: They will ruin your clothes more

Cheaters! 6/10/2004

DO NOT COME HERE. I brought my nice dress shirts here, specifying dry cleaning rather than laundering -- paying more, of course. What happens when I get my shirts back? They were obviously laundered -- the colors were faded, there were burns from the industrial press used in heavy duty laundering, and the collar on one of my shirts had a TEAR in it. Pros: Relatively cheap. more
