Much better than Red Lobster though not as good a value 8/29/2007

I wonder if the business plan for Main Street Ventures is ""give it to 'em in the lobby."" True to plan, then, the price of admission gets you a great place to eat a ""just-OK"" meal and folks are flocking in. My halibut steak was done perfectly--warmed through, but had a slightly off smell. I have an iron stomach and have never (almost) sent a meal back so I ate it all without untoward effects. The scallops with linguine featured meaty scallops and gluey pasta. The drinks were great, so I'd go there for drinks and an app or two if I had some extra money and wanted to drink in a happy place that smelled great. The tariff is out of whack, though. Good seafood, little too pricy unless., 12/21/2006

There is many aspects to real-seafood that does say over-hyped red lobster, their clam chowder and lobster bisque are average, while many of there fillets such as tuna, halibut, and others are ok. However, there south african lobster tails are unbelievable, as well as their mussels, and if your really into trying something different the mako shark is not bad. All that being said real-seafood does offer a great deal for birthdays. On my wife's birthday we had two southafrican lobster tails at 50% off an unbelievable deal, for parties of two 50%, for three 33% off and for 4 25% off if someone at the table has a birthday, also free chesecake. Great packing poor with poor content 8/7/2005

I've been there twice for dinner. The ambience is fantastic, the wait staff is superb, but the food is lacking. The first time I dined there I found the food bland. A few friends and myself gave the place another try and while the appetizers were fantastic the ""He Stew"" was bland, thin, and not very appetizing. Three of the people in my party including myself ordered it and I was the only one who even finished it after liberally peppering my dish. I won't be returning. more

Don't bother w/ the Paella 5/12/2004

I went there with a group of friends a few months ago and ordered the Paella Valenciana. Nice presentation, but it was disappointingly overcooked. The pan it is served in comes quite hot, so the crawfish and shrimp were chewy and while the rice had begun to burn and stick at the bottom. Their other dishes are good and the mussels are delicious.
