Real Capital Group got our rental property back in order after it was mismanaged by a different company. I wish we had started with them. more

Real Capital Group is the best landlord a person could have. If there is a problem with my apartment, I call their maintenance line and they schedule someone to take care of it. If I have a question about my rent I talk to one of their property managers and get the information that I need. I plan to stay for a long time. more

We hired Real Capital Group to manage and rent out our property in early November of 2011. Over the months the only contact that they had with us was when they sent us a statement letting us know how much they would be charging us for ""maintaining"" our empty unrented house. Unless I contacted them I never heard anything from them. At one point we went to their web site and found that our house was not even being advertised as a rental. The problem was rectified however there was a lost opportunity for renters during the time that our house was not being advertised. Over the past few months, I asked multiple times why the house was not being rented and the response was always ""it's a slow time of year and no one is going to look at it."" After being charged $45.00 for them to shovel 2 inches of snow from the front of our 10 foot of side walk in front of our house and $140 in management fees we decided it was time to give them the boot. My husband spoke to them and verbally canceled the contract and sent an email to cancel it in writing. A week later we got an email from them that they had a renter for our house. When I reminded them that we were canceling our contract they told us that we had to send a certified letter and would be charged 90 days of ""maintenance fees"". They never responded to my husband?s email to cancel our contract and only informed us that we needed to send a certified letter when we told them that our house was under contract to be sold and could not be rented. While this is in the fine print of contract they were sure not to tell us what we needed to do to cancel our contract when we spoke to them the first time. They were more than happy to take money out of my bank account but didn?t do anything to earn the money they took. Nasty people to deal with if they can't find you a renter. I would rate them lower if it were allowed. more

The only choice for property management in Upstate NY. As in life, you get what you pay for. The only company I recommend. Truly a hands off and worry free management company for any property owner.. more

I am in the military and was getting stationed across the country so needed a property manager that could be relied on to do everything because I wasn't there. They set up all of the advertisement and I had a tenant in no time. Being in the military, I rarely have the opportunity to check my email or be reached by phone, and Real Capital has proved to be reliable and trust worthy with all decisions made at my property. They gave me the most competitive rate with great service also. I have been using them since 2008 and couldn't be more pleased with my decision. more

I used several maintenance and repair services before I turned to Real Capital a couple years ago. Wish I'd found them sooner! These guys really go over and beyond the call of duty to provide prompt, efficient service for my rental buildings and also my own home: lawn mowing, plumbing problems, door locks, painting, sheetrock repairs... you name it. It really is remarkable--Calls are answered almost instantly and even the most demanding tenants are happy. more

Tenants and Owners alike, stay away from this company! I've never in my life dealt with a more incompetent organization. I own a single family home in upstate NY. A tenant occupied the home in August, and there were no issues until January and February's rents were not paid. Real Capital Group claimed they were working with the tenant and that the tenant would be moving out. After traveling to the property to inspect the home, I met the tenant face to face. She has not occupied the home since December due to a burglary. The tenant addressed security concerns to Real Capital Group, and requested an alarm system be installed at her expense, and they told her no without even consulting me. The tenant then moved out, because she did not feel safe, and so the house has sat vacant for two months, going on three. Real Capital Group seems to think the tenant still lives there, so either they are grossly negligent, or they know she moved out and are lying to me, the owner. This is a poorly run company, their customer service is atrocious, their billing practices are unethical, and really they are just out to steal your money, they do not care about their clients. more

RCG has been managing my property for the last few years, and I have nothing but good things to say. They have been able to find qualified tenants, and are very quick to respond whenever there is a maintenance issue. Highly Recommended! more

After researching various property management organizations, I decided to contract with Real Property Group Llc in June of 2011. The owner is very knowledgeable of all aspects of property management and was able to answer to my satisfaction, which was no small achievement, all the questions I had about renting the property. By August, the property was rented to a very qualified tenant. I couldn't be more pleased with their professional management of my property. more

I am very pleased with our dealings with such a fine group! My daughter and I engaged RCG to rent her home in Clifton Park. They made good suggestions that were helpful in preparing the home for rental. Their maintainence group did an excellent job completing needed repairs and painting., at a reasonable cost. They found excellent tenants (after thorough checks to insure they were trustworthy and responsible), They found good renters in a reasonable time, and were very professional in all their dealings with us. I would recommend Real Capital Group without reservations. more

I have had a property under management with Real Capital since the Summer of 2009. They have handled multiple tenants, easily taking care of any and all management and maintenance issues. They have gone out of their way to make sure the property and tenants are cared for (even cleaning and prepping the property over a single weekend to accommodate a new tenant's move-in date). Highly recommended. more

I hired these ""people"" to manage my property in March of 2011 and by June all they had done was show the place. Oh, of course they charged the full ten percent ""management"" fee the whole time. Beware because they require at least two months notice to terminate the management contract EVEN in the case of the property SELLING! Be VERY careful and read the contract carefully. These people are out to gouge you and the finance/office guy is NOT friendly. I am completely disappointed and feel I have been ripped off. more
