Best

When I woke up yesterday to the ultimate black-screen-of-death on my PC, I was completely stressed out. I would push the power button and there was not so much as a whir, or even...

I'm an environmentalist. I really do respect the idea of reuse. It's just that, sometimes..... it really IS time to stop using that old crap and get something new. Those who go to...

wonderful place to get cheap computer hardware 11/19/2005

this store is amazing in its ability to hold so many products for people to browse through. the items are quite cheap and they have been tested to make sure that they work so you don't have to worry about defective items. great place to shop PROS: cheap products CONS: some of the products are simply out of date more

Shop here for new pc 11/11/2005

I went in to this store in reading looking for a new PC that I could use for the home. As soon as I walked in to the store I was asked if I wanted any help and the manager then asked me if I minded waiting for help as the sales staff were busy. I found this friendly and knew that I did not have to wait for long. The manager then went and got me a member of staff and he helped me get everything I needed and listen to everything I said. I was very impressed with this and was also told all about the services they offer, they expalined that they now have a extended warranty that you pay for monthly and how easier it was than other extended warranties. I would always recommend going back. PROS: good staff and knowledgable CONS: some stuff was over priced more

Some hard to Find stuff 11/8/2005

This is a great Pc repair shop I purchased 2 motherboards from here and the first one was broken, they gave me an exchange 2 months later without the reciept. Some of the stuff is way overpriced like the DVD-rs and Dvd-rws, the used and recycled stuff is much cheaper and do my shoping for these items mostly here. more

They fixed my PC 8/14/2005

I am one of those people who just have to look crosseyed at a computer and it goes bonkers. I had a problem with my computer and I don't know much about these things but basically my monitor was fried and my computer was running so slow. A friend told me about this place and said that they would have the answers to my questions. I was able to replace my monitor with something they had in stock and they reset my computer to just as if it was straight out of the box. Staff is knowledgable and willing to share their expertise. this is an interesting place to shop. more

where do you get a mac fixed? 5/8/2005

There are not too many places to get a mac computer repaired. Especially an ancient Imac. Re-PC will do it and their prices are pretty reasonable compared to some other places. Staff is friendly and they work pretty quickly. more

Good Deals 3/19/2005

I bought my last computer from Computer Recycle and have been very happy with my purchase. First of all I was impressed about the good parking, a feat in itself when in Seattle. I bought a system that was 2 years old and have been using it for 3 years. Considering the price I got a real bargain. The people were very helpful and answered all my questions. I am not a novice when it comes to computers or even building computers and was very happy about the parts that they used. All top quality. more

DIg up a storm 3/1/2005

I think the best part about coming to re-pc is when you come in looking for something certain that you need you will have to dig through bins in some cases, i love to go in and dig through the bins, it makes it funner to look for the item that you need. If you just have questions about an item or a computer that you have they staff is really friendly and more then happy to help you with your problem more

Go treasure hunting for PC parts at low prices here. 2/27/2005

The thrill of the hunt -- searching through a bin full of parts until you find just that one perfect and/or obscure part you've been seeking. After finding two items of which I was greatly in need, there was one more discovery for me to make - excellent customer service! The staff bent over backwards to answer my questions. It helps to have a good knowledge of what computer parts are going for - both used and new - to help you find your best deal here. PROS: Open Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 7 pm. Off-street parking. Second location at 510 Andover Park West in Tukwila (ph 206.575.8737) open same hours. CONS: Closed Sundays. Phone service is frustrating when they are busy. Complex warranty and return policies warrant careful scrutiny of the fine print. more

Good repairs, and the ultimate computer flea market under one roof 2/22/2005

The repair dept at Re-PC helped salvage the contents of my harddrive off of my old laptop when it got flooded a couple of years back. I was thankful for their inexpensive and helpful service. The shop itself is like something out of Star Wars. Bins and bins and rows and rows of computer parts and accessories. If you are a scrounger or scavenger or inventor, come by! Another fun attraction is their PC museum. See things you remember from junior high (a TRS-80!), and before, the whole evolution of the PC is right there in front of you. Geeky good fun. more
